Anthony Davis can't seem to catch a break from various Injuries. Do you think it's time for the team to Trade him instead? We can secure good pieces for him & maybe Future 1st Rounders.

Wait until LeBron leaves and then trade him for picks to jumpstart the rebuild.

The ideal window for buy high sell low was 2 weeks ago, we missed the boat.

Winning the title this year and then trading him would be a baller move.

To those who think we should trade AD: Don't you think it would piss off LeBron if we actually did that? He's already been pissed that he doesn't have enough help around him to begin with.

The easiest way to part ways with AD, and possibly Klutch (not happening) is when Lebron retires or leaves for Cleveland.

I agree that the optics and LBJ factor make it super unlikely if not totally impractical that AD would be traded anytime soon.

That said, analytically, and from a "can you build around this guy in 3 years when LBJ is gone?" perspective there is at least some logic into "selling high" soon.

I think there is evidence that even a beast mode AD by himself with various role players is still around a sub .500 team R/S especially given the history that AD has been out for extended periods and looking at the fact that he will be about 32-33 when LBJ is gone. We also see that LBJ by himself with various role players can at least sniff .500. So, logical to say, that while LBJ is a definate #1A type player that AD is like a #1B-#2A type player in terms of contender roster. Lakers would need to get at least another #1A type player or more to improve around AD in the future.

LBJ+AD at the moment if healthy = gotta give them the puncher's chance in the playoffs so this year and maybe 1 more.

LBJ + AD in 2 or 3 years = punchers chance is gone and a bunch of question marks about the value of keeping AD at 40+million going forward.

Funny, but I am ok trading him, he is too injury prone to create around, long term...
