Everything Russ Lakers-wise has been discussed to death.

BUT next season when hes gone either by trade or us slamming the door in his face at the end of the season, what is his future in the rest of the nba? Even if hes the 15th man, will he be on a roster next season?

I vote NO.

Bad teams want to develop players from the draft and playoff teams want to win which you aint getting from Russ.

I think people saying he'll be offered the MLE are crazy. Its not crazy to say he is the worst player getting starter minutes in the league right now.

Every NBA team and fan memes on Russ. Every GM has seen the pressure it puts on your front office. Every coach has seen that he is uncoachable. Who is going to sign up for that?

BUT crazier things have happened. Maybe a team takes a chance on a one year vet min, maybe a GM is dumber than Pelinka.

Yes he will be.

But he won't be a starter again IMO, and he will have to settle for something like a minimum to a mini MLE level tops deal.

I bet his agent called around to see if any team with cap space would sign him this summer. He obviously opted into that 47m probably b/c he was hearing deals that would pay him a tiny fraction of that 47m.

Yes. On a vet min contract and a bench role, though.

no, it is where Yaoming played. they just released Michael Beasley and signed Eric Blesdoe.
Russ won't be on their Radar because they need players who can score at will.

Russ will need to transition into a current Derrick Rose role if he wants to stay in the league. An energy guy that can get buckets on a 2nd unit
