He hit number 695 today, a 2-run pinch hit shot to beat the Cubbies 2-0. His last at bat against them. I remember when the Cards traded away Tatis and went into spring training needing to replace him at third base. They brought up this Pujols kid until they found someone else and the rest is history. One of the top two hitters I have seen.

I like that most of his recent HRs were game tying or game winners. He just isn’t hitting them with no meaning or value.

VLF not sure how much you watch LAD but Heaney gives up a lot of bombs. I’d tune in tonight - good chance Albert creeps closer to 700

Fan who caught 700 turned down multiple offers from Pujols / Cardinals. Very smart of him/her. Send it to Christie's - if they want it that bad, they can put in a bid.
