I would like to see how Damion Jones's 3 point shooting looks. He was hitting them at a good clip at the end of last season.
If Jones can be a 35-37% 3 point shooter, I might start him over Bryant as Jones is a better defender and more agile.
i dont think jones is a better defender than bryant... bryant has a higher iq and it shows in his rotationszzz.. jones might be a better rim orotextor tho which fits well next to AD

TB is coming off an injury riddled season.
I think Jones is a more fundamentally solid center defender than TB though. But it's a good problem to have compared to DeAndre Jordan and an ancient Dwight. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Thomas Bryant is a beast don’t get it twisted his injury last year prevented him from taking the next step, he might be 1 of the steals for the vet min that I have seen in years.

TB was a good get. If he wasn't coming off an injury-riddled reason, we wouldn't have had a shot at him. But, yeah, he's a throw of the dice in terms of what we'll get from him.
* Thomas Bryant Says He’s Grown Up Since Leaving L.A. In 2018
"Bryant spent the past four seasons with the Washington Wizards and after coming back from a torn ACL, appears ready to play a rotational role for the Lakers. Alongside Damian Jones, Los Angeles has assembled a solid frontcourt rotation to pair with Anthony Davis."
* Bleacher Report’s Zach Buckley reported how the Bryant signing could pay off big-time for the Lakers next season:
Quote:
"you don't have to time-travel too far into the past to see some unique tools in his arsenal. He has a sweet stroke for a 6'10", near-250-pound center, plus he has good bounce and great energy for someone his size.
If he can find consistency with his health and game, he could be pretty special. Through five seasons, his career per-36-minutes averages include 18.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 threes on 59.0/35.0/76.4 shooting."

TB would be slower than he was before. We will waive him. _________________ Trade AD now.
How about we instead focus on these more relevant plays from last season as opposed to looking for any angle whatsoever to scream "GO GET WHITESIDE INSTEAD"
