Think he is in a Laker uniform this season.

There is no market for him unless the Lakers sweeten the deal with FRPs. And I hope they continue to hold the negotiation line.

Situation sucks! But it is what it is. Just part of paying the dues for the championship. The man is under contract as are his teammates. Make it work.

Good Luck Coach Ham…

62% start on Lakers
37% traded

I love it. Let's go!
I can't wait for the 4th Westbrook thread when he gets traded.

That would be the more interesting question.. How many threads will there be about Russ by the end of the Season if he stays on the Lakers?

No one wants to be the GM that ends the Lakers streak of getting fleeced.

I'm hoping for a miracle, but recent history has not been kind to us.

I'm thinking at this point we'd need to do more than lose the two picks... like maybe Reaves on top of 27 and 29 and Russ and taking back trash.

I really hope I'm wrong and something surprisingly good happens... but it doesn't make sense why it would at this late stage.

If it happens, I have a feeling it will be painful.

Then you just need to pray Kyrie has his sh*t together

When your own agent dumps you for being unrealistic, it is time to take a long hard look at yourself.

Will be in purple and gold opening night and the foreseeable future. Lebron antics made trading him that much harder

Lakers won’t let Russ destroy their team chemistry. If they can’t trade I can see them telling him to stay home aka Wall. He and LBJ are done so he’s done with the Lakers.

There you go in make believe land again. Since when is Russ a bad locker room guy? While you’re at give me a list of the sacrifices Le Diva made last season.

Make believe land? Talk with Just Ming. He is a ticking time bomb in that locker room. You really want him in there?

He played center for crying out loud to give more spacing for Russ? Remember how Houston had to trade Capela for Russ?

No he played Center because AD was out and the ones on the roster was trash

So that’s not a sacrifice? You think he wanted to play center? Your agenda and bias blinds you.

Reaves said Russ was not a distraction in the locker room give me a list of players who said he was

How about an option for his starting the season with the team, but from his couch?

If they can't find a deal that suits their interests, but Russ and LeBron can't make it work, telling Russ to stay home a la Wall seems like it may be the best bad plan. They have Reaves and Nunn to fill the point this year, plus offensively can play Bron there. Last year we didn't have those options, and needed Bron to play up front.

The closer you get to the trade deadline, the more of Russ' salary the Lakers will have paid.

That was last season. This season he literally just fired the guy who suggested he should embrace the Lakers and Ham. Would you still take this guy into the regular season and try to "mend" broken relationships? Or would you rather sit him out/waive him from game 1 so that the team could have more time to build that championship chemistry together?

Can't wait for Westbrook to ball out for another team and get back to putting up monster triple-doubles and then having people on this board scramble to make excuses as to why he couldn't do it next to LeNeuter.

If he gets the ball the entire game, he will put up triple doubles every game even quadruple doubles if you count TO. He could average a triple double this season and I could care less if his team gets the typical first or second round exit again.

If triple doubles are that important to you, then keep rooting for Brick. He's always been a triple doubles machine.
