He's playing for 6 million.
I mean... sure with hyperinflation looming anything is possible... but I think even with inflation it's hard to see anyone paying Schroder 20 million per year unless he has a huge comeback season. |

He made $16m in his previous contract. He screwed himself by not taking the Lakers deal and then wound up in a market where there was no cap space that could be spent on him. He was traded twice in that previous contract, his contract would have been movable.
I doubt he gets a similar offer to that now. He screwed up. He had the ideal situation where he could have been overpaid due to the Lakers cap situation and he got greedy. Now no team has his bird rights. They'll have to sign him with cap space. So he'll likely wind up on an MLE level deal and by the time that expires and a team has his bird rights, he'll likely be too old to cash in. |

We would have watched a Lakers/Warriors WCF and possibly a redux of Lakers/Celtics if that was the case. |

Either being traded or sent home. Either is fine. |

As long as I don't have to watch him brick bank shots, or airball lay ups, or dunk misses. |

At minimum, much respect Dennis.
The dude plays hard, can’t say the same for most of the clowns from last season.
He went for the bag and over valued himself, but this a good move. |

Don’t forget turning it over in the painted area. |

True, I hated that game from him.
But, with that said, he is talented enough to redeem himself.
Plus, let's note forget Kawhi and Paul George went a COMBINED 5 points in the epic collapse in Game 7 against Denver after being up 3-1 in the series.
Far worse that Dennis ever did. |

DS17 and Pat Bev instantly improves the defense drastically. His talent level for that price is a huge win. How let’s see what Nunn and Russ can bring back. _________________ You mystified at what exists inside

This guy at the end of the day can play. On both ends.
Good signing. I’d start him. |

Love it! Imagine how much pride needed to be parked for him to return on a minimum contract.
Schro has game, and he can create his own shot. Him and Pat Bev will make a nasty duo.
Everyone loves a good redemption story.

One thing I remember about DS is his ability to use his speed on help defense. |

He can ply for sure... was our 3rd best player by a mile.
only thing he did wrong was not taking that deal and his initial attitude but he played hard. |

Pelinka has been doing well with the signings first Bryant/Jones and now Schroeder if he gets something good for Westbrook I can’t see why people would have anything against him. |

I think he has done great with the exception of Walker. |

If the Lakers keep WB, I wonder how the guard rotation would go?
Can WB and DS play together? That be a hack of lot of speed. |
