I think the change of teams really helped him grow and mature. I wonder how he would fare with vets like LeBron and Gasol and a defensive minded coach...
He struggled no question. Still think he's a good player that I enjoy watching and who contribute to a winning squad. _________________ Music is my medicine
Why did he never end up as the star many projected him to be?
He had the potential to be. Big difference. He's a good player. No question. He still has a lot of ball to play. I'll tell you, at the time, he's still the right pick over Okafor.
If that draft was done again, in retrospect, he's still going in the top 4 or even 3. Booker or Kat at 1 and 2. Dlo at 3 or 4. So he was a great pick. _________________ Music is my medicine
Always felt he was good in the role he is in now. 3rd option, not expected to be the star of the team. If he was drafted 8th-12th or lower, people are happy with him. He was drafted 2. Same thing with Lonzo. These PGs were drafted at 2, and have 3rd option/3rd best player upside on good teams, IMO. At 2, in the draft, people were looking for the next Curry or something.
Ingram is the one who is living up to his potential of being drafted so high. Props to him.
Can get 18 and 10 any given night like RW, except this guy does it more efficiently. He may never turn out to be our steph curry like we all hoped he would when he got drafted but I think he can help with the flow of offense _________________
