I’m frustrated when I think of their having given away Randle, as well as last year’s pick for Schroeder, this year’s pick, and other apparently unwise mgmt choices (Zubac). No organization in their right mind would give away a developing talent like Randle. Now we have virtually no tradable as a result and I’m no longer cheering for a favorite member of the team.

I was looking at Dallas' stats today and recalled the time when there were people here who wanted to trade Randle for Willie Cauley Stein who is now averaging 1.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.1 blocks.

Randle having an awful season so far. His impact metrics were among the top 20 last year and now he's sitting around 250.

And right after he signed an extension, he's available on the trading block for the right price.

Feel stupid for every doubting myself when it comes to Randle. Ate a lot of crow last year but it’s true..he’s still garbage. Fluke year last season and it’s never happening again.

It was a contract year....thought he was gonna break out and make the Lakers regret their decision to get rid of him. But looks like even the Knicks will trade him for the right offer.

Julius Randle across the Last 7 Games

29.6 PPG
12.4 RPG
6.3 APG
0.7 SPG
0.7 BPG

46% Field Goal
32.4% Three Pointer
80.3% Free Throw

39 Minutes Per Game

Not much else he can do, and I expect Thibs to continue running him into the ground as, as it currently stands he's their best player and their best chance to win. But he needs help. Kemba was brought in to be difference makers, and with Rose out, he needs to step it up, as he's been an absolute bust this season. Now with RJ out with injury, Kemba was to show why the Knicks got him... he hasn't.

Kemba in the same span
9.7 PPG
4.5 RPG
1.7 APG
0.3 SPG
0.3 BPG

39% Field Goal
32.1% Three Pointer
100.0% Free Throw

Rose can't return soon enough. But as is the case with all Thibs teams, I worry about their health and Thibs running them into the ground.
