I haven’t forgotten how this team looked this year even when AD was healthy. We lost games with LeBron AD and WB playing.

AD coming back may perhaps change the margin of losses.

Ad has the skill set of Giannis but with no drive to be best in the league

He is a walking injury about to happen, I don’t trust him to stay healthy and help us turn around the season

Even if we get bubble AD back (which ain't happening), we are at most a 2nd round exit

His skill set is completely different. Giannis is a perimeter player.

IMO soft means weak minded. I don’t think that you can say that about AD. Unfortunately he isn’t physically built for a sport with contact. I don’t think that we would be better than top 4 in the West with him but his play and injury are a bigger negative to the team than Westbrook is.

I am talking about the drive to be a franchise player

Then what was he in New Orleans? He was clearly a franchise player.

Yup if he wanted to be a franchise player he would’ve stayed in NO. He came here to be Robin…only problem is it’s Lebrons time to be a Robin now. AD seems content not being the leader

Lol oh the goalposts and changes to the story people make when they decided they don't want to like a player.

So now AD left new Orleans cause he was scared and wanted to be a Robin..

And I'm sure Lakers fans weren't screaming their heads off for this "Robin" that helped lead us to a Championship while putting up Shaq like numbers in the playoffs. Right....

KD has an MCL sprain and his return to the Nets is doubtful.

Are ya'll gonna call him soft too now?

That couldn’t lead the franchise anywhere.

Lead them to lottery more often then winning seasons. Thanks to playoffs rondo he got to the second round...

Is that the expectation now from Lakers franchise player? 2nd Rd of playoffs after having West, magic, Shaq, Kobe, LeBron as their franchise player??

Tbf, even KD couldn’t get to the finals without Steph/Klay

And that's his fault?

Let me ask you something...

Why do you think the Lakers try to get multiple Superstars on their team instead of just one?

Why doesn't OKC versus Miami count as a Finals?

Cause it was Westbrook (you’re right and I’m wrong)

He was their franchise player (according to you) and that is the role of a franchise player.

At this point, it's not even arguable that their championship hopes live and die with his health. That's how monumental he is to the team. I would even argue that, when he's on defensively, his impact supersedes anything Lebron does on the offensive end.

You could also argue that they were a .500 team with him and a .500 team without him. That is an indictment on the team, not AD. His defense is a real plus but it hasn’t translated to wins on this team.

Nah, you don’t trade AD, you find someone to replace Lebron when the time comes.

2 years? AD will be close to 30 with more wear and tear.
