Yup. But we are a .500

It took two triple doubles to eke out a win vs the worst team in the west. I'll take it!

Scoring hasn't been the problem for us. Its stopping the other teams. Caruso might have helped us big time.

Lebron and Russ for once actually looked like a decent 1-2 punch to close out the game.

Like he didn’t get lit up by booker and Payne in the playoffs? We need inside presence first and foremost

No. Not me. This felt like a win. Actually felt like they are finding some sort of rhythm. They just need to get their defense together, but with the acquisition of Stanley, AB coming back... It really helps defensively. If AD was in, would might have won by more because of his defensive prowess. To be honest, if Rob somehow got Grant and Ben Simmons, not saying it's gonna happen, but if, the league would be in trouble. Stanley, AB, AD, Grant, Ben Simmons, Reaves defensively.... Dang.

Booker and Payne lit up everyone. Right now we are getting lit up every tom and dick in the NBA.
last year the problem was scoring not defending. This year we went completely the other way.

@TDrock I’m pretty sure Lebron will get lured into his cryo chamber right now like Captain America πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸπŸπŸ

I actually feel like DC provides more. It may not show up on the stat sheet, but he has been really solid when he has come in and gives us a boost, even when he is not scoring.

Yup. But we are a .500
Team so this is just about how anyone should feel.

They're a bad team with some young talent, we're an ok team with some star talent. The ok team should beat the bad team, but our miserable defense and no AD made this a close game.

Nothing about this game made me feel we are anywhere near turning the corner or doing the right things overall. All I see is that Lebron is making us a ton better on offense as a 5, but our defense suffers a lot. We are giving up way too many paint points and easy baskets.

In the end, the West 5th to 9th seeds are quite close. We easily could finish 5th just as easily as 9th. At this point, just get as many wins as you can, develop some young role players and hope a healthy AD gives you a major boost in the last 1/4 of the season. I have no hope left for Westbrook. He is who he is.

I hope we get some interal improvement from Reaves, Stanley, Monk, THT, Nunn. Those guys can make a little difference around the "big" 3. Obviously, AD coming back at full throttle would be the biggest boost, but our role guys being younger and more athletic would also help.

I agree, this was a win and felt like it, because I know what a loss feels like and it F*ing sucks.

Lots of positives in this game. Johnson and Bradley can really help shore up our D with Ariza and Reaves. When AD gets back, we will obviously be even that further ahead on D

Establish the defensive identity again and work from there.

Heck no...I mean hell no!

Collison should never play alongside WB. He got to touch the ball about 3-5 times this game it felt like. He's a much better addition than IT. Dude actually plays defense.

If we were somehow able to get Bradley Beal and Dame. Omg wow the league would be in trouble. Not gonna happen but I’ll say it anyways for no reason. Wow .
