Throughout the game? IT didn't play at all in the 1st quarter, and he played less than 2 minutes in the 3rd quarter, so he did all his work in quarters 2 and 4.

To be fair to Ventura, 7 of IT's 19 points were in the last 3 minutes when the game was already over, so there was a good chunk of garbage time stats.

So he played the 2nd and 3rd quarters and scored 12 points during that?
Thanks for confirming what I wrote

Actually, that's not correct. You're like a guy standing in front of a mirror screaming "I am right!" to himself even as you keep getting things wrong. But if that's your idea of having fun, doesn't hurt me at all.

What a silly non-sensical analogy.

9 free throws......... who from our bench can draw FTs?

Hell, outside of Bron, and AD who has drawn that many FT for us this season?

He is much better than Rondo imo.

At least this post is not factually incorrect since it's nothing more than a subjective personal opinion. You are improving!

This team needed a back up 4 and some size right now... Instead Lakers decide to bring in IT... Who had a history of not working well with Lebron before at age 32. What made them think he will fit in now with Lebron at 37?

Because he scored 42 in the G-League and talked about how he's back for the 400th time. Honestly i thnk IT is on drugs. Same drugs Lance Stephenson is on. An would you look at it Lance is back in the league.

Remember when IT had a good game and everyone wanted to sign him for the rest of the season? Good times.

I still like him, but it's clear the Lakers can't hide him on defense. Oh well... he wasn't going to stick around on this dysfunctional team anyways.

He can still make millions overseas.

The Lakers and Isaiah Thomas won’t do a second 10-day contract, making him a free agent, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Multiple teams are expected to express interest in Thomas, who averaged 9.3 points in four games for Lakers.

I was the one that said that but you ended up being right I didn’t expect a player to come in score 45 points in G league then turn around and give a good production into NBA games to fall on his face after that I definitely didn’t factor in consistency

That third game made me nervous from the beginning I really didn’t understand why we were bringing in another guard when what we needed was rebound and defensive help in the worst kind of way

A player plays 1 really good game.
One section of LG celebrates and wants to sign him yesterday.
(And conveniently ignore the player's previous stint, or past-season numbers)
The player then reverts back to who they were (or always have been) viz. a cast-off from another team, or a vet-min that many teams passed on, or up from the g-league, or back from playing overseas, or rusty due to a long layoff, or ...
A second section of LG chides the first section on their false hopes.
A few days pass and we have a rinse and repeat in a different player's thread.
(Check out the Bradley and Ellington threads e.g. and possibly the new Johnson thread)

I do like the Stanley and Collison additions though. Im going to give Collison some leeway. Been gone 2 years the rust is expected. If he's anything like he was in his last season with Indiana he'll be a fantastic addition. I doubt it but it's worth a shot.

I was pulling for him, but at this point he is a +/- liability. Team is bad enough on defense but that game against San Antonio they treated him like a traffic cone or a coach simulating defense. It was target practice. For IT to make a difference he needs to score in bunches and clearly he is a shell of his former self.
