AD / THT was supposed to be a future to build around, but LMAO at that.

In all honesty, you guys all realize that it’s virtually impossible to trade Westbrook without getting fleeced by another GM…
You guys know this right?
No one is going to help the Lakers
Not for $44 million with another $47 million coming..
Worst possible position for the Lakers to be in…
And we thought Deng and Mozgov were bad. Even combined, their salaries were less than what we are paying Westbrook.
Sad…. |

What so sad about that play, he called to switch and decided not guard Mills when Monk was trying to stick to him. |
Monk was amazing on mills. He used his quickness to stick to him and you could tell he decided that he wasn’t going to score on him. Then there’s Westbrook |

From the leadership and starpower standpoint it is. AD seems to have decided that one ring is enough and people on here were hyping THT to be the next Laker HOFer. |

Just a couple layups or Patty Mills not having the best game of his career and Lakers win. Ahh |

I like AD. I think he still has top 5 potential. If and when AD decides to show up with Lebron, we're a championship contender. It's as simple as that. THT is irrelevant just like WB. They're just sideshows or footnotes. But it is much easier to get rid of THT than it is with WB atm. Johnson is actually better than THT tonite. It's not hard to replace THT.

Russ is poison to a team and it's culture. Just an overall loser of a player. |

AD will be much easier to trade to get assets when lebron is done. I still have a little hope for AD with that being said |

I watched exactly...zero minutes...of this one. Looks like I missed just a repeat of the same.
So just glancing at the box score, and a bit at the play by play, looks like Nets jumped out to sizable lead. Lakers got it close by half. Third quarter Nets blew it open to a 20 point lead. Lakers then got "sorta close" in the 4th, but does not appear it was really all that threatening?
That about sum it up or something else? _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |

Where's the mic drop guy who, whenever Russ had a good game, would mic drop for anyone criticizing Russ' play to be quiet? _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |

They tied the game at 115 with 45secs left… Gave up a 3pt play to Claxton because we refuse to match big on big. Then Russ blew a wide open dunk. Which sealed the game. |

Outside of a select few players, that salary is an absolute albatross that gives nightmares. Russ is not one of those select few players. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |

Gotcha, and thanks Miggz...ok, definitely glad I did not watch this one. Aside from getting frustrated at a 20 point deficit, I woulda lost even more hair and blown a vocal cord if I watched what you described. Maddening just to mentally think about it. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |

Just curious, does anyone have access to a list of salaries correlated with PER?
I'm not really a fan of the stat, but considering the stat I believe sets a rating of 15 as the league average, and Russ is floating just around 16, I wonder if dollar for dollar if Russ is lowest return on investment PER wise...or at least ranked up there...for a healthy player. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. Man they made a huge run as soon as Russ sat. Lebron was magical and can see the game turning and I felt like were going to pull it off. Then Russ came back in, we were still battling and able to dodge a couple of Russ blunder before we finally tied the game. But just could not over come Russ at the end. I feel like when Lebron is in a groove like that there is no need to bring in Russ. We win this game if Russ did not come back in or if Vogel was coaching tonight. I been critical of Vog at times but Fiz line-up is like 3 times worst than Vogel.
This coaching staff just don’t believe on putting in defensive stoppers during end of games situations. Should have put in Dwight for Melo or Russ when it was tied at 115-115. |

Why did dwight only play 6 minutes? How many times do we have to be owned inside to stop the small ball lineups especially with melo at the 5? |
