Can people stop with the “we should have gotten DeRozen”?
We didn’t have a chance.
He was a free agent - we only had MLE and LLE open..
He got $30 million per year
Spurs would not have done a sign and trade

So, want to make sure folks stop saying that..
And a sign and trade hard cap us. DDR was never an option
1.5 minutes left, down 1
-Westbrook makes jump shot, up 1
-Lebron blocks Derozan, Caruso offensive rebound, Lonzo misses 3pt, Green offensive rebound, Derozan makes jump shot, down 1
-Westbrook misses layup, down 1
-Derozan misses jump shot, Lonzo offensive rebound, Rondo fouls when he doesn't need to, game over
Literally just rebound the ball
Our small ball lineup looked pretty damn good at stretches just couldn’t rebound the damn ball.
It’s funny how there’s a few posters here who said we are better without AD
Crazy that our small ball lineup struggles with rebounds when you Lebron and Russell on the floor
Aside from rebounding, LeBron and Russ were great going to the rim because of the shooters. They don’t have that luxury with AD out there. Teams don’t respect him from the three. AD would help defensively but would have hurt us offensively. He really needs to find his shot from outside. So, I’m on the fence on just how much he would have helped.

Screw the Derozan trade. Just create a time machine and avoid the WB collision.

Old Man Trevor looked good with the 15 minutes he was on the floor.
Having him definitely boosts up our defense. Sucks we lost AD for a couple weeks. I can see these two working well together on the defensive end
AD = a month at least
Doctors are going to reevaluate in four weeks.
AD is an injury magnet. I don't know whether to class him fragile or injury prone. The Lakers had a real shot at this game. Couldn't close. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.

Different build, it just seems he is more fragile. The way he moves/jumps, it just looks unorthodox at times. You see players built like a tank ( Giannis/lebron/Westbrook), but that’s just not AD.
Just sit Lebron for the next three games. No point in trying to win them. Without AD, we need use Lebron wisely just to get enough wins to make the playoffs.
So I get with a veteran team that you give them the benefit of less shoot arounds and less practice.
However, that’s reserved for veteran teams who have earned that privilege…not one who is lazy and allergic to doing the little things to win games.
If they don’t want to work for rebounds and loose balls in addition to a pretty important requisite of defending, then you don’t cancel shootarounds or practice time.
Enough of this (bleep) with a bunch of declining name players who think they are above winning basketball.

The nets will probably be without their big 3, or at least KD/Kyrie
Totally fine with him sitting next game

To get swept in the first round?
This is as much on Lebron as it is on anyone else. This is what it looks like when he uses all the assets in the cupboard and then he ends up with old, name teams who don’t scare anyone in the league.

Team has no identity. Last season if our offense looked it was fine because our defense would keep us in it. This season we ripped our defensive identity away in favor of offense. We keep the same team as last year.
We wont lose against OKCx2-Wolvesx2...We sure as hell wouldn't lose to a team missing Lavine. We panicked after the 1st round exit.
As Tom Hardy said in the Drop..The drew we flinched.

This team as presently constructed isn't going anywhere. Unless half the roster starts getting 10 years younger.

Make the playoffs with everyone healthy. Anything can happen. We'd be the most dangerous 8th seed. Even if there's the slightest glimmer of hope of winning #18, I'm not gonna give up. The alternative is to give up on the season which doesn't do us any good since we don't even have the first round pick.
This is the symbol of this trash ass team. Nothing sums up the 2021-22 Lakers better than this clip.
Yeah, guys like Russ and lebron never box out, and supposedly big guys don’t go for rebounds,
Why should famous players have to do the dirty work? Leave it to scrubs like Caruso, McGee, and KCP. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

I get it AD has been inconsistent to say the least. But if he was gonna break out of his cold streak I’d like to think he would go off in his hometown of Chicago. Erasing all of those second chance points the Bulls got. Last night we really missed his 10 rebounds a game that he is currently averaging.
My cousin from Chicago called me and proposed Tony Bradley, Derrick Jones JR, Patrick Williams and some draft picks for AD.
