Good win, but the Lakers had 4 days off. We have to give this performance next game and going forward.

Despite our ridiculously bad start with Bron in/out for half the games, a lot of new players getting in/out of the lineup and learning the schemes. Westbrook etc. Somehow we've managed to be tied for 5th after tonight. There's no way if someone told me 2-3 weeks ago we would be tied for 5th and be playing just a bit over .500 ball.

We got to keep at it. Did a lot of things right. This is now 2 out of the last 3 games, really dominant stretches of D and O. In Sacto game, and now this game. Guys are starting to get the D schemes. You can see it.

Just you see the effort was also there and the extended rest could have a lot to do with it.

To add to everyone’s THT criticism, the guy stalls the offense too much. Over dribbling syndrome. James Harden without the shooting lol

He needs to get yanked from the starting lineup ASAP

Because he wasn’t the right free agent to keep, it was Caruso…
A consistent player…

Kenny and Chuck betting if the Lakers will be a top 4 seed in the West.

Kenny says yes, Chuck says no.

I had the opposite reaction though. His defense was quite intruiging. He made a lot of mistakes on offense, but really liked his effort and effect on D. No one is stopping Tatum easily, THT did challenge and contest well on a number of plays. He's not easily beaten off the dribble, there were some plays he simply refused to let his man get by him to the rim. Really love it when our guys do that.

THT's upside for the team is far more on rebounds, cuts, man D, rotations to contest 3 point shooters vs creating himself. He needs to focus far more on the former than the latter. He is young and gotten hype. I do think this was a game that showed unlike some of the other starters we've tried, at least THT has starting level talent and match up ability. Ellington would get ripped apart by elite big guards. Monk, IDK. Nunn? Small. Not sure Ariza has the legs to be a starter.

What we need THT to do is focus less on creating, more on finishing plays.

Well we kept him.

He’s 20 and our 3rd highest paid player.

He’s gonna play no matter what. Him developing is super key to our team. Whether it’s so he can be traded or contribute to the team.

He’s not gonna be perfect and he’s gonna make boneheaded mistakes.

It is what it is. You learn most from mistakes. Hopefully this gets him prepared for the end of the year or we are able to move him.

I agree with you. I loved seeing them running for rebounds and loose balls. I was pulling my hair regarding those areas in previous games. I hope they keep it up along with the defense.

I’ve watched enough of him to realize to maximize his potential he needs a lineup where he’s the head honcho.

He’s been just flat out horrible next to the Big 3.
Can’t find his shot, rarely does the right timely pass.

KCP and AC fit in so well for starters they focused a lot on defense and they forced themselves to learn how to spot up shoot.

True 3&D’s whereas THT just thinks, ME

Guaranteed because of his defense which helped contain Jayson and Dennis.

His offense was just flat out U-G-L-Y
