Yo only need some common sense. Clips has lot of players that can hit 3. Our 3 pt defense sucks. put that two together.

I agree 100%. was gonna say this, and that's why I dont believe this is a coaching problem...

it's more of an effort problem

Unfortunately the only card left is to fire the coach because Vogel isn’t going to turn into a screaming Popovich to light the effort

team plays to the level of the competition.. if this team is healthy in the playoffs, they might shock the NBA. Plus, the NBA is so wide open this year

This team just isn’t good enough. It is what is.

Big 3 vs. just PG13 and role players. Just not a good team.

If we start beating the good teams... maybe I'll change my mind.

I am trying to think of someone with enough mojo to scream at Lebron, AD and Russ... I can only think of a maybe Phil, Riley, Pop, Chuck Daily, Don Nelson... maybe Bob Knight? lol

but those are old school coaches, who coached old school basketball players who didn't melt at the slightest hint of criticism..

Really in all honesty..IN ALL HONESTY! This team was fun to watch today. We still suck on defense but our offense creates good looks. Clearly Lebron is coasting out there though because he looked disinterested until the 4Q. This team is a mess on defense still. We had some bright spots but overall much more to work on. But i see chemistry brewing. We should have won this game. Missed a lot of free throws and open threes.

I think we'll start putting together a run soon.

I actually think we played good defense until Vogel decided to double PG for no reason

There was a reason. Believe it or not THT did a very good job on him. But if you have Monk in there, then Lebron has to guard him or then it is Monk.

BTW PG had 19pts the same as Kennard.

Yes, on 10 more shots. I’d let a struggling PG go iso in oppose to leaving kennard open for 3s. Westbrook guarded him ok this game too, and they decided to send the weak double team

I don’t fully blame vogel but his rotations and lack of adjustments are irritating.

Down 110-109 and clippers call TO with 1:26 left.

We need a stop but we keep Melo and Malik in the game for a big defensive possession.

Malik doubles PG, no one rotates and we leave Kennard open for a wide open 3.

It was a soft double, right after PG found kennard for a wide open free throw jumper after their TO. Vogel has got to know that it was not AC/KCP trapping, the soft traps are basically daring their best 3 point shooter to make an open 3.

If this is the appetizer, I am concerned about the main course.

We’re about to be served gas station hotdogs that have been spinning in that little machine since the 90’s.

Defense at some level is instinctive and the Lakers roster is full of players with a low defensive IQ

To be honest, a team as bad as the Lakers winning the chip just feels weird. Sure anything can happen in the playoffs, but I can't remember any championship team that won it all without being a good team in the RS

This is the tail end of Lebron led organization runs.

We got a chip out of it, which is great…but now it is the painful decline stage where you can tell they have no shot at winning anything significant. The ceiling is basically a 2nd round exit, if they even make it.

Happened in Miami.
Happened in Cleveland.
It’s happening in LA.
