The team looks old, slow and with little interest in playing defense.

Right now it is an absolute mess.

Imagine if they had the Bulls early schedule. They would be 4-13 or worse.

3-0 in OT so with one of the easiest early schedule, 8-9 is still fortunate. So as bad as the Lakers are looking right now, I think the team is actually worse than it looks.

No doubt. 3 of the 8 wins needing OT is not a good look.

And it’s not like these OT games were against GS or Suns. It was Spurs, Butler-less Heat and I forget the 3rd, but it wasn’t against GS or Phoenix so definitely was against one of the mediocre teams.

I think if we fire Vogel and Lebron is 100%.

Maybe we have a chance. But for sure, the coaching needs to change.

I wouldn’t fire Vogel. I’d hire Terry Stots as an assistant and have him run the offense.

Our defensive issues are personnel issues - you need young role players to play defense.

Offensively - we digress into iso ball too frequently. Bring in Stots to run the offense and he can get us a top 5 offense.

Firing Vogel is effective to waiving the white flag on the season for Fizdale’s failure. Fizdale has never run a top 5 offense and when he was a HC they ran some of the worst offensive schemes ever seen. See cranjis_basketball’s Twitter

Im all for bringing in offensive help, but one of the main complaints from Portland fans about Stotts was that he just let Dame and CJ take turns isoing.

Key stat in the headline, 8-9... meaning we're only 17 games into the season and it's not even 2022, hell it's not even December. People need to stop getting lost in the moment.

There's still 65 games left and people losing their minds I'm here. Patience

Just make the play-in and anything is possible. However, it would be nice to start building chemistry and not have dudes getting hurt before that time.

Some depressing stats:

We've had the 5th easiest schedule so far

Our expected win-loss record, based on that SOS and our negative point differential?

6-11

Ouch. And the team is boring to watch, too.

Injuries are officially part of our teams make up. So much so you should just refer to injuries as a player on the roster.

fortunately, Laker fans have not reached their limits unlike Kings fans... the Kings actually made their fan puke watching them play basketball. Literally.

As others have mentioned, the record doesn't tell the whole story. Point differential adjusted for strength of schedule, we're currently ranked 25th in the league.

Reminds me of our first games in the bubble. When we were finishing off the regular season games before the playoffs started, and Rondo was hurt.

UGLY to watch!
