I think I might have preferred a 35 blow out to keep the heat turned up on this group. |

When we have a big 2nd half lead LeBron gets complacent and walks the ball upcourt, which lets the other team off the hook.
Not hating on LeBron - just pointing out something he does that's not good.
That's what a team is about - covering for other people's weaknesses. |
Didn't say you were hating on LeBron. But LeBron walking the ball up the court to run a play is a deficiency? Let's say I were to agree with that. Russ taking the ball up the court out of control, which leads to a turnover, covers up for that? I'll take LBJ walking it up the court any day over THAT! |
Walking the ball upcourt and milking the shot clock the way LeBron does when we have a lead can allow the other team to get back in the game and even win, like OKC did to us.
Find a happy medium between the two things. Keeping pushing the pace and playing our game, but of course be under control. If we have a 15 point lead, great. Get it up to 25 and make it hurt like a b!tch for the other team. |
First of all, LBJ didn't play in either of those OKC games. SO he had nothing to do with the comebacks. It was more like Russ playing out of control and letting them get back in the game. Not making smart decisions when we had the lead.
Secondly, there is no happy medium with Russ. All he does is try to push the pace, and RARELY does he play under control. |

Am I the only one who feels Doumbouya may have a bit of potential if his desire and work ethic are there? He didn't do too badly tonight. |

Still no excuse to give up 26 and 19 point leads. Have some perspective |

I get it they play with whatever they have available but Vogel and Fizdale gotta show me something more than this garbage.
I’m leaning towards the fire these guys ship..... an I’m a big Vogel supporter throughout these past 2 seasons.
Maybe it was all Lionel Hollins and Jason Kidd during our title run???? |

Defense and heart with a team that played together won us that title.
Then we blew it up.
This team is an entitled nothing. _________________ "I bought the Lakers so I could beat the Celtics" - Dr. Jerry Buss |

Pelinka-Lebron and AD really (bleep) this roster majorly. |
What happened? I thougth they wanted Lillard all along and they settled with WB? |
Players dont research is what happened
They saw the triple doubles they saw the big names. Pelinka as well since he if anyone should have explained that WB wouldn't make a good fit. Maybe they'll turn it around players are injured so we'll see. |

Which is a better choice?
1. Player with less talent, but plays hard.
2. Player with talent that loafs at times. |

It don’t matter they got the purple and gold standard. Any loss is the end of the world.
An I’m not trying to sound like some douche elitist pos. When they all walk into the UCLA health training facility tomorrow all those banners and retried numbers should remind them that mediocrity is not an option! |

Seems like Russ has found a happy medium when LeBron is in the lineup. And even though LeBron didn't play in those OKC games, I was just using them as an example of what happens when you get complacent and stop doing what got you a lead.
Yes, there's no excuse to give up those leads. So stop walking the ball upcourt when we have those leads, and instead try to beat the living s--- out of the team and be a little sadistic.

What do we do from here?
Give Westbrook a sedative? Calm his ass down?
Hate it because I know he cares but he can be terrible… |

With AD and Lebron out there needs to always be Melo or Westbrook on the court. For the second straight night Vogel has trotted out a lineup where Rondo and Dwight are your best offensive weapons? |

Bradley, DJ, Rondo, Ellington shouldn't be in the rotation once Nunn, THT, Ariza, Lebron are back.
Reaves should also play more. |

Yup like I mentioned earlier Vogel and Fizdale gotta show something.
I’ve been a huge Vogel supporter these past couple seasons but now it’s just getting ridiculous.
An we’re all totally understanding you play with whatever players you got available. Piss poor rotations |
