Westbrook was limping pretty badly on the last possession. Didn't see where he may have gotten hurt.

We better come out second half ready to play. This (bleep) is unacceptable for a team to concede 70 points.

We got 'em just where we want 'em!
LAKERS WIN!!!!

We have to be a little smarter at the end. After we missed on our last possession, WB tried to dunk it back in the basket. Needed to just secure the rebound there.

OK the first 30 minutes or so sucked badly. Long stretch of Reaves and we reeled this game back, then our aging superstar vets showed up to play in the 4th.

First half: Rockets 70-64

Second half: Lakers 55-47

We played for half a game and managed to eek out a very close win.

I hope he's OK.

Actually last year in the first half of the season we had the best record in the West. Also when it was LBJ and Ball, we were the three seed coming out of Christmas.

It's not how you start the season it's how you finish.

or he could have finessed it in... too much aggression on that follow up dunk, it popped out

It’s early. Were slowly improving…

I dont see the improvement. Tell me how this team is better than last years team? We just conceded 117 points against the (bleep) team in the NBA.

What will happen when we face Miami-Bucks-Nets-Phllly-Bulls-Knicks

We'll get demolished. Absolutely demolished. Because we've got a Point guard who cant manage plays at all. We still rely on a 37 year old Lebron to carry us to victories against bottom feeders.

Yeah we were a machine before the injuries. And then Pelinka and Lebron panicked and gutted the roster.

I’ve been watching basketball for a long time but I’ve never seen anything like that reversed call. Took away 2 points and possession basically. Wild.

Because he's the one that got fouled. Plus, he's an 83% FT shooter too. Just missed it.

Yeah that was ridiculous. Really. Secure the rebound, run the clock down with more than a one possession lead, then set up a score if there's more than 24 left. That should have been automatic for a player with his experience. Either that or make damn sure you dunk it.

Silas is still learning the ropes... he ran the go-to play, knowing that Lakers had a foul to give... that was a wasted op. (or maybe he didn't know)

should have run 2 plays... 1st play, anticipating the foul... then the next one would be the lob to Christian Wood for the tie.

Lebron shouldn’t be playing the 4th against these garbage teams, but unfortunately he had to save the team again.

Also, Wood abused AD on a few possessions which is kind of yikes.

DJ had +2 game against the Rockets on Sunday and today he was +3... he’s slowly starting to make a difference in the games.

Worry about it whenever we actually play those games instead of trying to predict the future

AD vs Wood matchup was nice to see.. Wood is no pushover. So can't blame AD

I think the correct way to handle that situation is they will take away the 2pts, but will give extra possession for the Lakers in the end of 4th,. The time will be the time remaining in the shotclock during foul on Bazemore.

Honest question. Do you see this team going anywhere with Russ as the starting PG on this team?

5 out 6 Ws, should be 6 straight.

But this was one was made way harder than it needed to be, because we only played defense consistently for about 7 minutes in the late 3rd to 4th Q. Rest of the game it was not a committed effort on D.

Houston shot the ball really well, I will give them some credit. They shot well. They have some nice young players. But we were not sticking to the shooters and perimeter guys like we did late in the game.

I will take the W, but this kind of D will not get it done, longterm.
