They can sleepwalk through that game. OKC is awful.

Lakers aren't that good that they can sleepwalk through games and beat bad teams tbh.

this Spurs team reminds you of the 1996 Spurs team... when they shamelessly tanked to get Tim Duncan... and they are obviously tanking this year.

and we can't beat them in a 48minute game... but a win is a win.

Great win fellas. Defense will be shoddy to start the season. Gotta gut out games like this. Let's hope AD is OK.

That's it, Lakers win 125-121 in OT.

Russ is frustrating as hell, but when you want him to just attack, dude still has it. 33-10-8 stat line.

AD 35-17 (and gave us a brief scare)

D was horrific most of the night, but in those rare moments (eg to start the 4th and to end OT) showed up.

Team still has just an enormous amount of work ahead of them. As we sit here today, they *might* be an 8th seed (in terms of play). They are nowhere near where they need to be. Still having huge issues with rebounds, especially letting teams getting offensive boards. 18 to the Grizz, 16 to the Spurs. Just not acceptable.

If there is good news: They won without LBJ, and won with poor 3 point shooting. That is something to build upon. Hoping we see this team at game 20ish be far better in the categories they stunk with tonight.

Westbrook and AD had huge games for us. They were incredible. I still think AD could play a little tougher, but he did his thing. I really liked Reaves play as well. The Lakers need to pick up their defense. Hopefully we will see a better effort tomorrow.

It is not possible AD tore his achilles and played on it, right? I mean I've heard that happen!

But unlikely at this level.

That was scary.

What a win and game though.

Nah, he's good. I think he got wacked good, and it hurt like hell. But he was way too "bouncy" to have anything serious.

I don't think soft Bron playing tomorrow. It would be cool if he did though.

Nobody could play with torn Achilles. Minor sprain of the knee, maybe.

It was obviously knee to knee. Achil he wouldn't be able to walk.
