Terrible disparity. Identical plays, opposite calls all game. Really makes the sport crappy to watch when the officiating isn't consistent.

Agree 100%. I am really not sure how the NBA thinks that officiating is professional or acceptable in any manner. When the Lakers complain, the refs just shrug their shoulders and play dumb, meanwhile consistently doling out uneven calls.

Suns got 9 FT's from what were, imo, kickouts by the 3 shooter (yep, CP3 too). If you notice those coincided with team slowly imploding. Please dont take that as me suggesting that's the sole reason they lost, but man, can we just not have the officals whomp on the team as well?

I can definitely see Vogel is on the hot seat right now. Our team is not playing good defense AND bad offense at the same time. There is no excuse we cannot figure something out with that amount of talent.

Can also count Reaves getting crashed into on 3 pointer with the ref not doing anything.

Then at the end the Suns take a shot clock violation and the Lakers go and shoot a 3 on the other end and Stu doesn’t say a word about it (and rightfully so) but I can’t help but remember all of the times he pretended it was extremely poor sportsmanship when the Lakers opponents did the same thing.

After a game like this, all I want to do is flush it and complain about this old coot. He has got to go.

Think about how many bricks bazemore threw up… now insert reaves

Look at all the shots Bazemore gave up and then complained about traveling or would just clap his hands together like he was frustrated before letting it happen again and again.

Combine that with the bricks he threw up.

Now insert Reaves in his place instead.

Probably a +10 right there, haha

Just for giggles looked up the box score.

Reaves +17
Baze -17

34 point disparity

That crew came off as if they wanted to prove a point: As in, we can call this how we like, so stop complaining.

Honestly, I feel better after the team made a charge at the end. They showed some pride, which I cannot say about the 3rd where it felt like they were mailing it in.

That's a non issue they were talking it out at the end of the timeout before they resumed play. It will get blown out of context tho.

But that was all on AD imo... Howard is a vet and AD was not playing well... He didn't need to get on Howard's face for whatever it was.

We shot 44% from 3 and 39% from the Field, I don’t think I have ever seen that in the past 2 years.

I wouldn’t be shocked if the Lakers go on a long winning streak soon, to much talent on this team to play this bad and poorly.

AD was probably surprise when Howard stood up to his face and didn't know how to react to it.

I know folks will be pissed about this game but

1. The refs were atrocious early and killed our momentum and confidence. It was ridiculous. Honestly they were bad all game, one of the worst reffed games I have ever seen and we were the home team. Crazy.

2. Russ showed some signs - some good burst and showed some of his trademark swag. We need alot more of that.

3. Reaves needs to play. Honestly I might start him as crazy as that sounds because he knows how to play. Moves and shoots well, great on and off ball D. Hustles his ass off.

I’d go

Russ
Reaves
Baze
LBJ
Davis

Opens up the lanes for our stars so the offense isn’t so horrid and you still have plenty of length and size.

Listening to Howard’s post game, I feel pretty good. He said all is well with Davis and it was a testy game.

The team is still reforming it’s identity

Yeah I overreacted but that was more about me wondering about the crowd reaction, I still have hope for this team.

Yeah and this got nothing to do with Westbrook, I think it’s AD not attacking the basket on the regular and we can’t shoot 3s

Gov - 3's werent really the issue tonight. It was everything else

No argument here, it’s on Vogel how bad the offense look

Vogel’s in a tough spot. Probably not easy to coach a bunch of stars - some of them real prima donna’s - look what happened on the bench tonight. I think it’s going to come down to these guys settling down and deciding to listen to lebron and rondo and coming together-

They need to focus on layup drills especially Russ and AD.
