My friend made a youtube channel. Something people could watch with their kids (10 and under probably) that is enjoyable.

She actually exceeded my expectations. If you have young kids and you wanna watch something with them and not worry about it being too mature. I'd recommend it.
It's actually pretty good:

Was the last post in this thread (before the one above) really almost 11 months ago? Wow -- seemed more recent than that. Time compresses in retrospect.

As much as I'm not really a car guy like Mike -at- LG, I do really enjoy channels like Tavarish & Hoovie's Garage.

I've been contemplating doing some guitar builds (well, I guess I'm beyond "contemplating," more like "planning"), and I've been hooked on the Driftwood Guitars channel -- both for the instructiveness of the channel, but also for the craft of the instruments this guy builds: LINK

Joogsquad - a bunch of surfers/skaters doing epic s*** - it's the new Jackass.

The David Pakman Show - Covers the latest news and stories in politics

But I think my favorite right now is nonplayerzealot4 - his channel is like getting a college degree in Lakers history.

I've watched that old coot before. I was just on there a few daze ago to see how a Spencer rifle was loaded and such after I watched it used by Clint in Unforgiven. He has a lot of range (no pun) as a gun historian and, also, the late, great R. Lee Ermey is no longer with us, so you gotta improvise.

These videos come from various YouTube channels, but I enjoy watching them . . .

(Berrios Beats - Otari MTR-12)

[CUAUHTEMOC TORIZ - MASTER TRACK (MEGAMIX 1)]

(Analog Audio Editing with ReVox)

(Steve Albini cutting and splicing tape)

They all have to do with analog tape splicing (reel-to-reel tape).

He is a comedian. Really struggled to get big. Then he created his "Uncle Roger" character. And his channel blew up. I understand why. The character is hilarious.

Been watching a lot of Weird History lately. Their yearly retrospective vids of the 80s and 90s are highly entertaining.

Love Quist. I've played many hours to his backing tracks.

Another great guitar backing track channel on YouTube is "Now YOU Shred." While Quist is mostly a blues guy, Now YOU Shred has all kinds of stuff.

I will check that out because my poor neighbors really need more of my sonic sounds (an acquired taste at best to be sure )

Not much of a YouTube watcher, but I did find one gem there.

As bad as Lockdown was, it did bring about some great things that never would have happened otherwise. Robert Fripp and his wife, Toyah Willcox, doing covers in their kitchen on their "Sunday Lunch" series is the most bizarrely wonderful WTF? rabbit hole to come out of it.

Business Insider has a lot of nerdy, but engrossing vids on various subjects like "why is it so expensive?", novel environmental waste reduction, etc. Reminds me of Modern Marvels and Vice stories. Has a Millennial/Gen X bent.

Most of the expensive stuff is spices and fragrances which have always been expensive, but it shows how the sh is derived. Stuff like sandalwood, acai berries, cloves, etc, etc.
