I caught up on the Cruel Summer tv show. To my surprise, it is significantly better than I expected. Definitely worth it to give it a try if you are looking for a show. Eight of the ten episodes have aired on Freeform, and I am fairly thirsty for the final two episodes to answer many outstanding questions. |

Anyone checked out Snowfall on Hulu?
I have only watched the first two episodes so far but I like it.
I also have started The Judge on Showtime with Bryan Cranston. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

It originally airs on FX and is one of my favorite shows currently on television.

I enjoyed, but probably expected to be a little better than it ended up being. Cranston is good in pretty much anything he does. |

Stay with Snowfall. It's a good series. It's about the CIA allegedly financing the Nicaraguan war by selling crack in South Central Los Angeles. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Funny that LL called it The Judge. Would've been an equally accurate name.
I felt similar about Your Honor as you do. With a cast that has Cranston and the guy who played Rothstein in Boardwalk Empire. I was expecting a 8.5ish out of 10 show. A great show. But it was just good (7.5ish).
Worth watching for sure. But feels like it could be/should be better. Tough to put my finger on why. Maybe its some of the other cast? Maybe there are too many episodes? Or maybe there is too little plot and peripheral character development? _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

^ same feelings about Your Honor. The difference between that and Mare (which was great) is in Your Honor you could feel the writer’s thumb on the scale, making certain things happen. In Mare the story felt more organic, nothing was forced to happen. |

Another great episode of Mythic Quest. This show keeps getting better. The serious episodes are incredible.
Also, Lupin is back for Season 2.
I’m about finished with Kim’s Convenience too. It’s a good comedy show similar to a Schitts Creek or Modern Family. |

Right! The serious episodes have an authenticity that is matched by very few shows out. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Bo Burnham's "Inside" is really damn good. Funny, clever, visually stunning, intimately insightful and quite different. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Yeah, things were finally is a good place or should have been.

It was just a process thing, not the actual action. In 2021, no Mayor has that level of unilateral power. If it was on NBC, I would not have blinked but this is a show that is mostly very attentive to details in the writing. |
IMO self-policing isn't a workable scheme. I have no idea where that's going.
Where is this going? Roselyn watching Douda get busy. Tiffany and Emmett having an open marriage. Trig playing peace officer and living with a transgender. That's sex on multiple levels.
Too much going on.
Side note: Jasmine Davis is a transgender playing a trans in the series. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I watched up to episode 6 of YH and then stopped. No particular reason and I did enjoy it but the show was giving me a lot of anxiety and I didn’t LOVE it. I do plan on finishing it. I watched the pilot of Mare and gave up on it. Again didn’t dislike it or anything just never got around to keep going. Guess I’ll have to finish that too since so many of you are recommending it.
Excited to watch Lupin part 2 on another note. |

Sorry for the error Guys! Glad you keep the old man honest.
I agree with you that something is missing from Your Honor, I like it but it isn't quite at the top level in my opinion yet I will certainly complete it.
Snowfall is really good, thanks to Adkindo for letting me know it was originally on FX. You can watch the current season on FX, but I couldn't find the previous seasons so I will have to stick with Hulu on that one.
Growing up in LA in the 80's, I feel they are spot on with a lot of the scenery and descriptions in the show...very well done. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Yes. One of the best things I've seen all year. Everything you said as well as scary, melancholy, disturbing, and quite moving as well. |

Barry and Ted Lasso are by far my favorite series of the last few years. There are a few common threads between them. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Loki is great.
Might go down as the best Marvel show on Disney Plus. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

AppleTV+ is gonna be the place the next few months. Mystic Quest and Trying on currently, Ted Lasso returns in July, See returns in August, The Morning Show returns September, and new show Invasion starts in October. I just need a For All Mankind s3 date. I’m guessing summer/fall 22 |

Can't speak highly enough about Mr. Inbetween.
One of those shows that just keeps getting better and better.
This new season has been great. The 8.5 IMDB gives it is well deserved.

When it first came out, I watched the first 3 episodes and gave up. All the glowing reviews have made me want to give it a second look. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |
