I like some of the rule changes in basketball. 3 ball, shot clock, defensive 3 seconds. I wish they would enforce the flopping rule more, though it would be difficult. Some flops are so obvious players could be nominated for Oscar. The king of flops.

La Croix is actually not bad. I bought a 12pack of the lemon lime flavor because it was on clearance for $2. I've heard people roasting the the brand and always wondered what the deal is. For something that's 0 calories and has no sugar, the carbonated kick and the faint sweetness relieves any of my cravings for the 300 calorie sugar bomb in a can of coke the same size...and it's just as hydrating as water.

La Croix is the Budweiser of yuppie fizz waters. Devoid of flavor and even the bubbles suck, but yuppie twats find it irresistible.

The upgrade from peach baskets to nets was the biggest game changer for Jo.

Nylon, cotton, nets were rarities. When we had them they'd last about a week. Kids wanting to see if they could touch the nets would tear them down. Most courts, other than the Y, had chain links or no nets. A swish was followed by shouting, cha-ching or Good Like Nedicks, the slogan for Nedicks orange soda.

The Simpsons seasons 9-12 are still pretty damn classic. Al Jean's return as showrunner in season 13 is when the show fell off a cliff.

If you're a recreational cocaine user, maybe don't chastise people for their unethical consumption via Amazon.

Movies, as much as if not more so than any other art form, is about sex.

Trying to turn film into sexless blockbuster pablum is a violation of the coda between movies and audiences. You cannot violate the horny for too long.

I'm done caring so much about the Dodgers and Lakers. After 2020, sports have been put into perspective for me: They're not essential.

Yes.

Almost every movie I turn to my wife and say "this could be improved with 5-10 minutes of full penetration"

I always believed the sexual tension between Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins made Shawshank Redemption the classic it is.

We all know they banged on that beach during the credits.

I always hated no net as I could rain outside shots like breathing.

That said, the most brutal was probably the old "chain link" as you mentioned above. Those would not only chew up your ball as it went through (remember I am raining Jumpers) but also you didn't want to get your hand caught up in it.

But also...

Good for you two

Unfortunately all the gratuitous T&A, softcore, and flaccid peen shots have migrated to HBO and Showtime while kids these days grow up watching movies with hot stars playing asexual superpowered people. The MCU should be like the Olympic village for fluid swapping. Chris Hemsworth shows more skin as the King of Asgard than he does in Blackhat, but the nerdy computer hacker in the latter movie clearly has had more hot sex - even in prison - than MCU Thor has ever had in his millennia-spanning life. Give me Body Heat not another Batman who doesn't skeet.

Anyway, Cruising (1980) should play unedited on basic cable constantly.

They clearly were an old married couple.

Also, the movie does have Andy Dufresne being beaten nearly to death for refusing to be orally raped.

You know what's interesting? The younger generation is incredibly, openly sexual, and yet having less sex than ever. They'll tweet ad nauseam about how much ass they eat, yet they've never licked a peach. I wonder if you are onto something...
