Trader Joe's has updated its mask policy and will not require customers who are fully vaccinated to wear a mask.

The specialty supermarket is believed to be the first major national retailer to make the change after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued new masking guidelines Thursday.

WalMart & Costco just announced they are following Trader Joe's lead. Expect by this time next week, many other major retailers will have done the same. They're seeing Benjamin's...

I'm gonna keep an eye out for new cases. IMO the new CDC unlimited regulations are too much. I hope I don't see a spike. I'll be wearing my mask while waiting for the new numbers. Hope they're low. 🤞🏾

Same here, I’m not going maskless anytime soon. Started masking up in early February, well before the mandates and will continue to monitor the new numbers. Chile had one of the fastest vaccine rollouts in the world (w/ SinoVac), but has recently experienced a surge. Hopefully, the Pfizer, Moderna, JnJ rollouts here will make a difference and keep them low.

Yikes, he is only 51. Not aging well or rode hard and put away wet. All that anger is not good for you Ricky.

I am not comfortable giving up the mask.

Not just because of Covid, but colds and flu in general.

LakerLanny will be masked until further notice!

So now its OK to listen to "the government" and NOT wear a mask.... when all this time these idiots have been whining about not letting the government tell them to wear one. Love the logic.

Yep.

There is absolutely no good reason to not wear a mask, but there are all kinds of great reasons to do so.

I hopped on his twitter feed. Basically all his "fans" are advocating to boycott Costco. These are the first bunch of bums that will cry about "cancel culture". Bunch of transparent liars.

Dogs Sniffing Covid From Sweat Fare Almost as Well as PCR Tests

LINK

Quote:
Dogs are able to detect Covid-19 in humans, a new study showed, paving the way for the broader use of sniffing canines in a global effort to contain the pandemic.

The dogs’ detection reached 97% sensitivity in the French study, meaning that’s how well the canines could identify positive samples. The sniffing was also 91% specific, which rates the dogs’ ability to identify negatives. The sensitivity rating beats that of many 15-minute antigen tests, which tend to be better at ruling out infection than at finding it.

They also trained bees to successfully detect Covid in samples. That came out about a month ago. Probably easier to work with dogs instead of bees, though.

I like this. We could just release large swarms of trained bees at big events and do mass vaccinations. What could go wrong?

As long as these events don't go too late into the night when the covid-bearing Wuhan bats come out ...

Just need something to handle the bats. Maybe a thousand owls or so.

Going to get my 2nd Moderna shot later today. I hope I don't feel too bad afterwards, I have an interview for a promotion on Monday.

How did it go for you?

I received my 2nd Moderna shot Friday afternoon. I didn't feel any side effects the rest of the day so I thought I'd be one of the lucky ones who escaped them. I was wrong.

The next day I woke up and couldn't get going despite my usual caffeine load. By early afternoon I was experiencing fever, chills, body aches, a low-grade headache and fatigue and went back to bed. Fortunately, by around 8-9pm the side effects started going away. I still don't feel quite 100% but feel a lot better today.
