Although Caruso brain farted at the end and wasted clock and took a bad shot and bad foul. Caruso thinks he is more than he is…

Bmac was ok, so was Wes. It was all wasted by Kuz and Drummond

they played hard too even though Kuz shots weren’t falling... he was robbed a key tip in late in the game...

Just inexcusable to foul when down by one possession with 29 secs left. Trust the defense. How many times all season did the Lakers desperately need a stop and didn’t get it? Can’t be more than once or twice. Usually those plays ended up in an airball or a turnover.

Bad shooting nights happen, sure. He still had no business chucking a three when 1-9. The odds are against him making it. He hit front rim too. He was ice cold. So inconsistent. Reggie was just talking about it last game and I never agree with him.

Caruso took a crown of the helmet shot the NFL would be proud of.

He's being asked to do more than usual. Just a wasted opportunity tonight all around

I don’t think he has Kuz syndrome like that but he definitely looked confused. He’s definitely not a true point that used to running an offense.

that was bmac but if we had our starting unit out there the IQ goes up and we probably wouldn’t be in that position

the team played with effort and energy but we just don’t have the horses.

That foul by Caruso was inexcusable....just a mental stupid brain fart a 10 year old wouldnt make at the most critical time

Caruso has too many brain dead moments at crucial times. I’ll never forget that Miami game.

Stupid foul, but this guy knows exactly what he is. He brings it every time he’s on the floor and even stepped up offensively this game. Does he lack skill sets...yes. Saying he thinks he’s more than he is simply isn’t true.

There's a difference between having confidence in your shot when you're a good/great shooter on a bad night and having confidence in your shot when you are literally a journeyman or borderline bum. Kuzma's irrational confidence in himself has cost the Lakers numerous games, and, with LeBron out, we do not have a lot of options better than him on the wing. Of course, instead of seizing these opportunities, he will consistently (bleep) the bed in the biggest moments (a trend that will only continue in the play-in and playoffs - if we make it there).

Drummond has terrible body language when things don’t go his way but always cheers the team. He might take the McGee role in the playoffs (if we get there...)

Lakers lose 106-101

Heartbreaking loss because the team showed grit and heart. Great performance from AD. Solid ones from AC and KCP.

Game was really decided on two plays:

Down 4 in the 4th, AD goes up for a dunk, ball goes in, SPINS out...rare as freaking hell. After that, Blazers came down and hit a 3, took lead to 7.

Then after that Lakers fought back again. Down 4, missed 3, Kuz goes up for the put back. Is called for offensive interference. On replay, ball was clearly leaving the rim. Bad call. Of course, Blazers came down and hit a 3. Slight momentum shift and Blazers were then up 100-90 with less than 3 minutes to go.

Lakers didnt quit. Went on a 7-0 run. AD blocks Nurkic, Lakers come down floor, can go for 2, or try a 3 with a tie...and...

The guy at the time 1-9, and couldnt hit the broadside of a barn, Kuz, took the shot. All you have to do is look my signature, the quote from Killer-Z, to know what happened. CLANK.

Game over after that.

Lakers are now pretty much locked into the play-in game now (if you think they wont get into that, they will, the 11th seed is way too far behind the Lakers with the games left). They are behind both the Mavs and Blazers, and those teams own the tiebreaker. Outside shot they maybe catch / pass the Blazers...but, this Suns game coming up? That's very likely an L without DS and LBJ.

Lakers have 5 games left, and only way they pass the Blazers is if the Blazers suddenly go like 1-4 rest of way, while Lakers go no less than 3-2.

Blazers remaining games are: Spurs, Rockets, Jazz, Suns, Nugs

Lakers remaining games: Suns, Knicks, Rockets, Pacers, Pels

Again, we can nit pick alot in this game, but guys showed heart and honestly you couldnt come up with some of the bad breaks this team got this game - you would think it was made up.

He doesn’t need to be John Stockton to know not to waste seconds of the clock. He did it running in circles before passing to LeBron against Miami and froze tonight too before starting the play.

That shot made me a bit angry... yelling at the screen and wishing Dwight were here for some retribution.. that punk even tried to complain about being called for T-Boning Caruso

FWIW.. Caruso always plays above his pay and expectation level

Dude was an accountant in the G league two years ago...

Again, I am so happy to see the monster AD back, probably 90-95% of his old self. He was a monster defensively

Caruso shows max effort ALWAYS. limited ability , plays as best as he can.
If kuzma played with even a quarter of the heart Caruso plays with he wouldn't be the church league player that he is.

LBJ or DS play tonight I believe its a 10 point W

Even with THT I think they likely pull it out

Really tough to ask AD + a bunch of roleplayers to win vs a team that talented but heck man, they came darn close.
