Given the full context of that game, the greatest performance I've ever seen. I too was sitting only my couch, well more standing 5 inches from my tv, going crazy.

I was at a bar dressed in Laker gear to the T. I live in the Bay Area and my Uncle (big Warriors fan) came along, but mainly to watch the Warriors win #73.

He always had a disdain for Kobe because he grew up a huge Jordan fan. My Uncle particularly like Kobe's younger self when he was trying to resemble MJ. But before that game my Uncle did something unforeseen. He brought a Kobe jersey and took a picture with me to show support for Kobe's last game. Over the years my Uncle came to really appreciate Kobe and everything he meant to the game. He now places Kobe in that MJ level and even admits he wouldn't mind if the NBA changed the logo to him. Especially after Kobe's death, I think it hit him that he took him for granted.

Still remember, taqueria bar east village (was NYC Lakers bar for a minute), packed, kept yelling ‘pass the ball to Kobe’ even when the jazz had it LOL, playoff atmosphere, I cried when he went on a tear the end of the game to win it. La Mamba Negra! Campéon! Siempre!
