Snowfall. Season 4, I'm waiting for the season to end so I can binge it. But there are 5 episodes already out.

If you haven't seen Zero zero zero or Gangs of London check those shows out.

I'm into Snowfall. It's based on an allegation the CIA funded and sold crack in South Central to fund the Nicaraguan civil war. Franklin Saint's like a cat, he has nine lives. I'm waiting for Melody to get more air time. I'm also pulling for Leon to make it through the season. He's on a collision course with Scully and Manboy.

City on a Hill season 2 is premiering in a couple days. I like Kevin Bacon. I like the premise. But I wouldn't give season 1 a grade higher than a B.

Rotten tomatoes last month had a list of the top 100+ HBO shows of all time. The list was made from a composite score of critic reviews. I think some critic scores weighed more than others.
The list is so bad it was funny. And the comments crack me up.

You are in for a ride. Season 1 is strong. If you like S1. Stick it out through the first 1/2 of season 2. Even though the first 1/2 of season 2 is slow it sets up seasons 3 and 4 nicely. And those final 2 seasons are GOAT level.

Very much not new tv, but going through DVDs of early Archer seasons and seeing FX promos with Louis CK and Alison Mack (Wilfred) can make your head spin. Things really do change a lot in a decade.

I see why u say season 2 the first half is kinda meh, the whole hallucinations is a drag but looks like necessary story line. Good watch if anybody else looking for a series

Season 4... this is getting better, the story lines zooms out and out and out, bigger and bigger picture each episode, must see tv

Wow, what an ending, this is two diff excellent series packed into one, action packed for 3 and a half then thoughtful sixth sense on steroid drama suspense to close... how come nobody ever talk about Mr. Robot, you’re right, GOAT series

As far as binge worthy shows go. You could do ALOT worse than the US Shameless. 11 seasons. Multiple peaks. The series finale was disappointing. But the show has a ton of powerful acting from Emmy Rossum, William H. Macy, and Jeremy Allen White.

To be fair, Frazier is a far better written and acted sitcom than Cheers (and that’s not a knock on Cheers). While I’m not much of a fan of Kelsey Grammer the person, he and that whole cast just absolutely nail the concept. And there are moments of physical comedy that would make Buster Keaton cheer.

John Mahoney was the gem that really made it sparkle.

Agreed. He was the straight man but he got to play it for laughs simultaneously, and that is really really hard to do. Niles is of course the over the top in a desperately restrained portrayal that most people clue in on, and David Hyde Pierce deserves the accolades, but Mahoney just took everyone’s interplay to another sublime level. I miss him. And the dog.

Binged most of season 4 of Snowfall today.
Soo good. Scratches that Narcos itch a bit. Some scenes remind me of The Wire. Some scenes remind me of The Chi.

FX has some REALLY good stuff.
I'd vouch for:
*Atlanta
*Snowfall
*Fargo
*The Americans
*Sons of Anarchy
*Mr. Inbetween
*What We Do in the Shadows
*Trust

Shows that I would put a rung below but are still good:
*Taboo
*Tyrant
*Devs
*Baskets

For All Mankind of appletv+ just finished season 2 and it’s probably my favorite show right now. If you enjoy space, sci-fi, and/or alt-history you should check it out.

Between that and Ted Lasso Apple really has made a name for themselves with tv shows— Trying and The Morning Show were really good too.

Finished Snowfall. Really liked it. Glad I waited till the end of the season and binged it.
Gonna do the same with Godfather of Harlem season 2. I think episode 2 of season 2 comes out tonight. But I'll wait the 2 months and just binge it.

Finally caught up on The Expanse over the weekend. Started re-watching from the beginning after realizing there were many references back to previous seasons I'd either forgotten or missed.

Shame one of the original cast members got themselves fired.

John Stamos is staring in a new show called “Big Shot” on Disney+ where he coaches a girls high school basketball team after being banned from the NCAA for throwing a chair at a ref. Two episodes so far, and it’s a pretty good show.
