Nobody expected anything from them, but they they're looking mighty special as they advanced to the sweet 16. Solid scoring, and solid defense really has the team gelling at the right time. |

Didn't watch UCLA game but did watch SC. That was a wire to wire ass kicking. _________________ KOBE |

That team plays like an NBA team.....especially the Mobley brothers....of whom Evan is a top 5 pick. |

Finally getting some respect. Good for them I was tired of hearing the critics ignoring them. |

I had them making the sweet 16, I thought winning the first 4 game gave them the momentum and confidence for the rest of the tournament. |

Add in Gonzaga and this is looking like a west coast tournament. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

Amazing performance by the Pac 12.
My SDSU Aztecs bombed out brutally, but the rest of the West is balling for sure. UC Santa Barbara in a 1 pt defeat for instance with a game effort. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Yeah great showing by the PAC - USC vs. Oregon for the right to the elite eight. USC handing Kansas, its worst defeat I think since the end of the John Wooden era...
Who does UCLA play in the sweet sixteen? _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

Meanwhile USC makes easy work of Oregon to advance to the elite 8 as well.....facing off against undefeated Gonzaga. |

Great games by our local teams. Both are going to have some pretty tough matchups though to get tot eh final four. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

I don't want to be overconfident (even though I'm just some guy on the sidelines), but I was only hopeful against 2 seed Alabama. They looked like a bunch of great, unstoppable shooters last weekend. I think the difference from when UCLA lost some games is now they let their 6' 6" guys run point and have multiple guys who can break down the defense,
inside and out.
I wasn't impressed with Michigan or Florida St and I don't have the same uneasy feeling playing them as I did Alabama, who some reporters called the 5th #1 team. I believe they'll beat Michigan, and then I don't know who would be next...SC/Gonzaga? It only gets tougher. UCLA blew a lead and lost to SC by 1 a few weeks ago. I'd expect them to play with SC. Gonzaga is the great unknown. |

I feel better about this team than the Farmar, Afflalo, Collison squads that lacked firepower and sufficient bigs. This team has options, and although I don't expect perfection, they only need a 3 game win streak to shock the world. They may not win another game, but I'm not counting them out anymore. |

Its about the system in college basketball... I don't think this UCLA team has anybody that is projected to be selected in the NBA draft. But as a team overall they play very well and cohesive with each other. |

Gonzaga handling USC easily so far.
I am glad I didn't bet USC as I had planned here, but I banned myself today due to being ICE COLD on the tourney so far vs. the spread. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Final (bleep) Four!!!
These Bruins are shishkibab against the Zags, but every team is shishkibab against the Zags. Love the run and hopefully this continues to juice Cronin's recruiting. _________________ Under New Management |
