I'd be super shocked if we won this. That said, it's certainly time for Kuz/Schroder/Trezz to show what they're made of

Is Jones’s current contract up? He should still be available they said he was going to play his contract out they just weren’t planning on renewing it. And then today Vogel was kind of backtracking on that.

EDIT- well hells bells

Per Goon

Feels telling that Frank Vogel says “the door is not closed” on Damian Jones after his second 10-day expires. He played well for the Lakers. They are obviously big game hunting in the buyout market, but if they can’t get the right guy, they could do worse than to bring Jones back

If we can win today, it really will rewrite the doom and gloom narrative. Hope goes a long way.

Sounds like they learned from LeGroin in 2018-19 and want to temper expectations. Looks like at least a month.

Spectrum just showed a classic commercial for when we were about to play Phoenix during the Shaq era and the commercial featured Chick Hearn. That was the best seeing that for the first time in a bazillion years. 🤣

Good grief, really? This whole thing with Marc seems wierd. I get the protocol thing but now not having him play "due to conditioning" just seems more like an excuse than us really knowing what's up. Just my take. Just seems wierd to me that based on that quote his "availability" ( "a game or two" before he is ready) is essentially timed with...after the trade deadline.

He clearly got COVID and got sick. If it’s just a contact tracing thing players are required to be out a week which translates to missing three or so games. When they’re out longer it’s a pretty clear indication that they actually got the virus.

This game is winnable (in a "any given Sunday" sort of way) but honestly will take lots of ifs, buts and candys and nuts.

Basically our fellas need to get rolling from 3, and hope Suns are not as smoking hot like the last time they played.

Probably too much to ask.

I'm not sure about that (or how bad it was). He cleared protocols for the Hawks game.

Hey maybe just one time roles will be reversed and the Lakers can be that hot team from 3, guys who usually brick everything in non-Lakers games make everything

... and despite undergoing an MRI yesterday, we only received confirmation of the type of sprain but not its severity. Curious why they didn't provide the grade of sprain.

I’m sure, I’m the one who does the Injury Thread and keeps track of all of this stuff lol

His last game was 2/28 vs GSW.
