Lebron had to play 34:21
against a team missing 2 of their best players

Not sure why people are talking negative about Damion's play. Except for a few plays, he did very well on defense. Kept a dude putting up All Star numbers, in Sabonis, limited on offense.

No AD, no Gasol, no AC (after the 1st quarter).

AD alone is a greater miss than those 2 Pacers imo.

I’m gonna give Lebron more credit for his patience.

I could easily see the late great Goat Kobe Bryant spiking the ball or cussing his teammates out in these tough struggling scenarios we’ve witnessed tonight. Same type of leadership Jordan would do.

Instead Lebron keeps his cool , lectures them calmly on what they need to do better and goes about his business. Lebron very similar to Magic Johnson on his leadership style.

He did well, they are only down by 3 when he rested in the first. And they had a rally in the 3rd and even take the lead before he rested. I dont know what they are watching.

There isn’t a team in the league that the Lakers have to play their “A” game to get a win against. A “D+” is plenty against most of the teams.

Lakers bailed out by Kuzma (that 8 straight pts won the game)

We need a 2nd floor general in a bad way

We need our snipers to get new contact lenses

And did we miss Gasol lol? Sabonis took Damion lunch

What?? DAmian is positive +/-, he acrtually played decent. They got back at the start of the 3rd with him at the center.

He looked unsure, not bad for a 10 day contract I guess, playing against an all star, maybe just need more burn but we need better big

Not sure TJ Warren is gonna continue doing what he did in the bubble.

Caris Levert is a toss up for me if he’s even better than Brogdon.

It's nice to see the Lakers spam the PNR in the 4th though. Harrell became more energetic after that.

The team out there without Lebron is like a car without an engine. Schroder hasn't been running the offense well since the early part of the season and THT is nowhere near ready for PG duties. AC was also out after that knock to the head.

Drummand is who everyone should want, but no one knows if he'll get bought out
we'll probably end up with either LMA or Boogie - neither one is optimal

Bah! Takes as much energy to be positive as it does negative

Enjoy the W my fellow purple and gold brethren! Drink! Feast!

(and hope for AD being healthy in a couple weeks)

BTW I predicted AD would be out 20 games...looks like I unfortunately may be right.

it's not a matter of being positive or negative
this team seriously underperforms against lower tier teams - that's factual.
all anyone has to do is go look at the past games and it's obvious to anyone with a brain.
We end up playing LBJ and our starters way to many minutes to make up for this

Lakers have a opportunity to get wins in the next 4 games, we should be 3-1 at the least.

Not worried as long as we have our top 2 come playoff time.....or a little bit before to biuld a little momentum.

We are probably not done adding to the team though.......I think the team is a little disspointed in Gasol

Mike Trudell @LakersReporter

12 of Kyle Kuzma’s 13 4th Q points came within the 8:43 and 5:58 mark of the period: 2 FT’s, a put-back bucket, a 13-foot fadeaway, and B2B 3’s. LAL went from down 86-78 to up 94-90, a 16-4 run.
