| Kind of a strange question to me because if MJ should be the pick, I feel that it should have been MJ 20 years ago. It could have been Magic 25-30 years ago. At this point it might as well stay the same, or be MJ. |

I've given thought. Kareem's skyhook would be an aesthetic improvement. Jerry West didn't want to be the logo and I ask, is that really him or was he just nominated?

To represent today's game? Its got to be Harden. I got the mental picture right now head back arm to the to the side flailing for that foul call or maybe him just standing at the free throw line which he owns in regular season. He represents today's game pretty well.
"Expert at selling contact" as the announcers put it. Check !
Shoots (bleep) load of 3s. Check!
Plays little to no defense. Check!
Forces himself out of a team who signed him to an enormous contract by playing like (bleep)! Check!
As for the off court stuff well hes into one of the hot button issues of the day the climate issue. It appears he has become such a climate expert that he's become expert at making it rain! Check!

I would keep it the way it is. I mean they aren't going to ever change it to an actual person(at least to the point where they admit they would change it to the person) because they would owe royalties to the estate.
The NBA doesn't want to pay Kobe's estate a fortune(or anyone else tbh).
Its why they got away with not paying Jerry West its not on record its him. |
