Good time to rest LeBron and still come out with the W. 40 year old Al Horford leading a bunch of rookies and sophomores is not going to beat us even without LeBron and AD.

Kinda like how Blake Griffin and Wayne Ellington were out for Detroit and we went 2OT...

Just limit Lebron's minutes and live with the result pleaseeeeee

If you don’t put in effort, any NBA team can beat you.

All these guys (even if we think some are “trash”) are the top players from their region. The best of the best.

So yeah, the assumption is you better show up. If you don’t show up for enough minutes, you will lose or play extra minutes until you decide to wake up.

Really hope we sit LeBron tonight. No SGA for them, this is a winnable game without both Bron and AD.

How long does Gasol continue to start?

Its almost guaranteed we will be down double digits at some point with him out there.

I hope his starting days are over. Any adjustment would be an improvement.

Go Lakers!

IMO, either way, it'll be another tight game. Teams either show up or they don't, there are no chippies in the NBA.
The Lakers need to win this one to in order to regain some home court swag; currently 7-4, 63.6% at Staples is nothing to write home about.

Exactly. I think Lakers are clearly the better team (especially with SGA out) even without LBJ and Anthony, so with effort this is a W. If the team loses this without our 2 stars then so be it. Win-win letting LBJ rest up after the 3OTs in two games, and forcing the rest of the team to be accountable, while giving guys like Kieff and Wes get some rhythm (more Kieff than Wes probably).

But of course LBJ is going to play so moot point I guess lol

I find these games so boring but feel compelled to watch anyway. Suddenly I look up and it’s actually a nail biter and I wonder what the hell I missed.

I agree with the camp that says sit Lebron and AD. Without SGA, this should be quick and painless.

Lakers wanting to conserve as much energy as they can and still get the W. Usually that works, but not when every team either gets up for the Lakers or has players trying to impress Lakers FO.

Part of it is also the shooting slump. If Lakers were shooting well they probably win comfortably in most of these games.

That’s what’s we said about Detroit without Griffin and Rose...

We've been flirting with an ugly loss. It would be nice if we could run some plays and orchestrate a higher caliber offense.

AD OUT. AC WORKING OUT “GAMETIME DECISION”

Per Trudell

Frank Vogel said Anthony Davis worked out this morning, and was hopeful to play tonight, but he still had some discomfort and they’re taking the cautious route again by keeping him out.

Here’s Caruso getting a few shots up early at Staples Center. He’s listed as questionable, and we should know his status after this workout, or from Frank Vogel in a few minutes.

Alex Caruso will be a true game-time decision tonight against OKC. They’ll see how he feels after he finishes his pregame workout.

Lets say the Clippers suffer another embarrassing early exit from the playoffs and Kawhi indicates he wants to join. Is it even possible to make it happen cap wise?

Better chance he mends fences with Pop and returns to Spurs then join Lebron.

AC OUT

Per Trudell

Alex Caruso is out tonight, joining AD on the sideline for a second straight game.

THE MARKIEFF REWARD PROGRAM IS OVER

Per Buha

The Lakers are starting Kyle Kuzma in Anthony Davis’ place vs. OKC.
