he had immense screen presence and a great voice. He was an awesome Klingon. RIP
Him, Christopher Lee, Richard Harris, Ian Mckellan, and Donald Sutherland are a category of guys I’ve come to enjoy in their later years for that special thing they bring to a movie. _________________ “We must always take sides. We've lost so many senior actors and actresses in this stretch. RIP.
In 2021 alone, we've lost Leachman, Tyson, Holbrook, and now Plummer, all 4 Oscar winners or nominees.
Apparently he died after falling and hitting his head, which unfortunately reminds me of how Chick Hearn died. He seemed to be in good health and I didn't think he was going to go anytime soon.

Elder gravitas. They all somehow became much more charismatic with age...and better at acting, too? Bit of both? Patrick Stewart is there for me, along with Connery in the 90s. _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

Don't forgot to add Max von Sydow to that list, I often confused both Max with Christopher Plummer, excellent character actors can seamlessly blend into any role they took on.

Yeah, but different vibe from those two. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel
