The first home game after a long road trip is always difficult. Denver has had three days off. This game will be tough to win.

Ooh I didn't know they've had all that time off. The Joker has been in Beast Mode. I want a really good intense game where WE WIN

GO LAKERS!

Who’s better right now— Jokic or AD?

This is litmus test game without Dwight Howard. This will provide the info along with the 76er game to see if we need another big man.

Are you being serious with this question? Jokic is playing at a very high level while AD seemingly looks like he’s coasting and going through the motions so it’s definitely Jokic but that can change

Jokic's impact metrics are insane right now, leading the league in just about every rate stat. Pretty crazy considering he's just a doughy big with a shorter vertical than Gasol.

Time for Marc to show why we really signed him this offseason.
Huge test tonight.

Jokic is playing out of his mind right now as Jamal has fallen back to earth.
This Nuggets team lost ALOT with the departure of Jerami Grant and Mason Plumlee.

No Harris or dozier tonight. New faces we didn’t see in the WCF are Will Barton and Jamychal Green.

An can Somebody please guard Monte Morris?!?!! Hoping Caruso or KCP

Lakers are road warriors and so far they been pretty bad at home. This is a L most likely but hope I am wrong. Haven't watched the Nuggets play this season, is Murray still going crazy with all this fanless environment? If yes then we have a problem.

Also, this is a revenge game for them as we knocked them out of the playoffs. I'm sure they have this game circled.

Nah he hasn't been nearly as good. Jokic, on the other hand, is putting up some mind boggling #'s.

Go CaruGOAT go!

Per Trudell

The current @NBA leader in net rating (minimum 8 games played/10 mpg):

@ACFresh21, with a +18.3 mark.

Caruso quipped on our @SpectrumSN pregame show (that airs at 6 p.m.): “I wish I got a trophy for that.”

Not if you’re in LA like the Lakers. I am so glad we’re off an East Coast schedule. Pre-Covid-ization of my life are used to always have to sprint home to catch the game and often times still missed the beginning of the game. 😊

Finally, another measuring stick game. Let's see how we deal with Jokic with our current roster.

Let’s hope the Lakers take it that way because that first game back from a long road trip is usually a struggle.

Would love to get a feel for Gasol’s ability to defend Jokic. I hope we don’t try Harrell on Joker, could get ugly.
