The Sixers are the #1 seed in the East by default only because the Nets just acquired James Harden so there is gonna be a shift soon. |

Listen to your idiot coach talks about the speed on the defense at the end of the game but don’t think he will used it much more |

Nets are barely winning. They have zero defense. |

Would have liked to see Lebron on Harris there. You knew he was their only real shot creator in a 1 on 1 situation like that.
Vogel was spotty in this one also. Have to have a timeout in that situation and his sub pattern was really odd |

Would hate for the Nets to get the #1 seed in the East. I expect the 76ers to hold it. |

And yet Vogel barely plays the guy, it’s crazy how he doesn’t get in the game until the 8-9 min mark of the 2nd qtr |

Bad switch there. The pick wasn’t event that great and AC could’ve fight over the screen. If curry wants to take a Shot off the dribble, more power to him |

Yeah. The players wanted Doc to challenge an offensive foul call but he told them he had only one timeout left. I wish now he challenged cause he would have lost and they would have been out of timeouts. Vogel not having one was disappointing |

They have to make changes to that team or it won't shift in Brooklyn's favor.
Since Harden got there, they are 3-2 with back-to-back losses to Cleveland, wins over Miami without Jimmy or Herro, and a win over a .500 Atlanta team. In those 5 games, they are allowing an ASTONISHING 122 points / game. |

I don’t get the hype. Those three stars don’t play defense. |

Was dumb. Especially because the refs would definitely let Lebron get away with mauling Harris in that situation with his body. |

Harris probably can’t even get to that spot with lebron guarding him. That was too easy of a switch |

he looked nonchalant and indifferent. could've even challenged the shot ... weird moment. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. Last time we won in Philly was off a Brandon Ingram game winning three.
Sure would of been nice to beat the 76ers tonight but winning the championship ending our 10 year drought really puts a lot into perspective for me.
Now I could care less what happens in the regular season as long as sneak into the playoffs as a 8th seed with a fully healthy roster I’m good
It’s nice to hold a #1 seed title but with our success racking up wins on the road does it really matter?.
Embiid is a certified Star sure but definitely a little dirty and that type of play normally doesn’t translate into championship level basketball. Same with Simmons who can’t score unless he bangs into the paint and that type of neglect on the perimeter gets exposed come playoff time. Tobias obviously has a sweet perimeter game but his defense is terrible. I’d love to meet them in the Finals if possible and demolish them in 5-6 games.
Alot can happen from now till then but it would be a good one.
As for Part 1 of the regular season schedule no Sixers at Staples. More than likely the regular season rematch will be in Part 2.
So as for today, good win for Danny and Dwight
Now time shake off this loss tonight and beat the brakes off Detroit tomorrow |

If Lebron didn't switch Curry would've shot a wide open three |

Not if AC fights over the screen more aggressively, they obviously had switch in their minds. Plus, curry would have to take a 3 off the dribble, |

I actually agree with IG on this one.
Sure Brooklyn’s defense is suspect but with Nash and Dantoni running their seven second or less offensive crap I can see the Nets actually giving the Sixers a hard time. An possibly beating them in a 7 game series.
Durant despises Joel Embiid and tears him a new one every time they meet.
Harden always has his way against Philly and has had some of his most historical triples doubles against that franchise.
I’d expect a high scoring game from both squads but with KD and Kyrie to seal the deal I find it hard for Joel , Ben to match that firepower in the end. Tobias can only do soo much.
As for a Lebron and AD who didn’t have their best games tonight , we know what they do during playoff time 💪🏀💪🏀 |

they barely win against weak teams, and people labeling them as best in the East?

Honestly the Sixers defense isn’t the greatest. An just like we utilized Dwight in the playoffs he’s no where to be found in crunch time.
Ben is the only one who is a solid defensive threat.
Joel is slow and AD ran circles around him tonight while not having his best game and we still almost won.
I can see Brooklyn’s big three going off on this Sixers squad.
We will see next Saturday as Brooklyn comes to Philly 2/6/21 |

Vogel earning that tech hurts more now. In a 1 point game you start to remember everything. Not a good night from him |

Ridiculous and premature for sure.
With that said nothing is set in stone for us as well as most analysts are still labeling us the favorites to repeat.
A lot can change from now until June or whenever the finals will be scheduled this season.
To me the regular season doesn’t mean anything. Basically just a big warmup until the playoffs. I do believe we still have the deepest team from 1-10 and all these “warmup” games will definitely only get us stronger. |
