First win against a legit top 5 playoff team (in either conference too 5). We really needed one of those wins to prove we have the ability to beat anyone.

What’s crazy is I still think we can play a lot better ......

Definitely.

We are far from a finished product.

I think we can, and we will play better.

A lot of times it looks like guys are out of position defensively because they're not on the same page yet. I expect those issues to be ironed out relatively soon.

Good win. 3pt shooting remains hot. 60 pts given up in the paint is not ideal but we held the top offense before tonight to only 106.

You nailed the positive

But Lakers wont be shooting 50%+ from 3 every night, that interior D must be fixed. If its possible with the current roster, great. If not, add the big who can make the difference.

Probably the only game Lebron didn’t coast so far.

Only caught the 4th quarter waiting for the replay on Spectrum.

Imho it sorta looked like Lebron took his foot off the gas in the 4th.

Settling for that outside shot (fortunately it was money tonight) ,

maybe he was a gassed a bit?

I watched the 4th quarter and I couldn't remember when he was off the court. Toward the end I was thinking ... is he really playing the whole 4th?

That loss to GS was hard to take...I was miserable for the last couple of days.

All is right with the universe once again.

Winning really does cure all.

Some post game citations from Buck fans:

“That was such a casual take care of business win from the Lakers.”

“When even Chris Webber can see your team doesnt know what it's doing....”

“Lebron just doesn’t age. I’m pretty sure he has improved more from age 35 to 36 than Giannis did from 25 to 26.”

“2 Superstars vs one dumb superstar. You cant take everything to the rim. Only one play where Giannis posted up and it worked, Fire Bud. He is not very creative.”

“The Lakers are the favorites to win again, by far. The Bucks have a roster that can make The Finals. But they won’t if they can’t harness the MVP. Khris and Jrue need to be the initiators.”

“Let’s just be real: This is a treadmill/gap year for us. No way in hell are we winning a title with the current roster & nothing we do is really gonna change that. This isn’t one of those, “oh we’re one piece away” kind of things. We’re very far away. Too many holes to patch up.”

“Caruso-Wes-Kuzma-Morris-Harrel is a top 3 bench if not the best in the league. We have DJA(lol), Pat C(lol), Forbes(lol), Thanassis(lol), B.Portis.”

“I honestly don’t think Giannis has regressed or his BBall IQ has gone down. I think the great teams/coaches have figured him out. He still dominates the bad to relatively good teams. It’s the great ones where his negatives are exploited.”

“If I don't see another Giannis jumpshot in my life I'm perfectly good with that, it's bad enough I have to watch the free throws.”

“Our issues have persisted since the bubble. WE’VE BEEN FIGURED OUT. I think Bud has to go or will be going before the start of next year.”

thanks JW.

bucks fans are on point with those criticisms of their team.

Also, the Lakers are getting league respect this season now that they have the best roster.

This was a mistake by Vogel. Glad someone else noticed, could have back fired big time playing him the whole qtr like that without a break.

I enjoy watching “this” team that plays with effort then the the “other” team that coasts. So much more!

Great early season win.

I think it was not. We played the whole 4th quarter with only 1 timeout left which we never took. We need a coach in the court.

I think it has more to do with having b2b 2 days off... Also Lebron might be working on his conditioning now. He usually starts ramping 15-20 games in. Also they didn’t want to lose 2 games in a row.

Vogel has given Bron and AD the authority to decide when they check in or out in games like this. I'm sure Bron was the person who decided he was playing all of the 4th.

Against the Pels AD just walked off the floor in the 4th with no one at the scorers table telling Vogel I'm done for the night.

I really love the relationship Vogel has built with his superstars and team as a whole. They all participate in collaborative decision making...and it works.

This is nit picky but one thing Vogel should get on Lebron about is his complaining at the refs

Now don't get me wrong, we have been getting SCREWED by the refs, especially Schroeder and LBJ on their drives, but when Lebron does that thing where he whines to the refs and doesn't get back on D it's like a guaranteed bucket

Sometimes I think he does it on purpose to cherry pick an easy basket but it's really aggravating and sets a bad example

Get back on D and complain during a break in the action or let Vogel do his job and scream at the refs

If this team is motivated and wants to play on both teams, I absolutely see them repeating. I even think, defensively, they can withstand Brooklyn if that happens in the finals.
