Interesting stat:

AD 6-16 from the field

LBJ 6-16 from the field.

They were combined 2-8 from 3.

Combined scored only 36 points.

Probably worst combined performance this year. Usually we do not see both shooting under 40%.

Yup, hard to beat a halfway decent team with our superstars stinking it up like that. At least AD was good on D and great on the boards. Bron was pretty much bad everywhere. 5 turnovers on top of everything else. It's just the reg season though. On to the next.

And they are the reason we lost. Move on. The role players did ok for most part, but when your super stars play like this, you don’t win many games. If this happened last season, we’d be looking at a 30 point blow out

Bron sucked tonight, but it was a meaningless reg season game. If he lays an egg like this in the playoffs, then I'll be worried.

I'm not worried. And I'm not trying to hate on the man. I have to re-watch those last 10 seconds again, but I have to ask, why doesn't he demand the rock from the inbounds and go to work? Why did that last play even get discombobulated like that? Again, I ain't worried. It's a meaningless regular season game. And I will forever love Bron for giving us that chip last year.

Vogel shouldn't have left Kuz in the game. I don't need to look at the analytics to understand he is not that good defensively. I would have rather had AC in for defensive purposes, but we would have been good offensively. Kuz is not a late game player.

Honestly not sure if that would have made a difference. They just seemed out of sorts. Also, am I the only one noticing there was (at least observable) more barking between the guys tonight?

Just a wierd game. Lakers kept building leads, letting them go, then at the end just got smoked. Their defense was really poor in the second half giving up two 30+ quarters, after not giving up one in the first half.

I don’t care about the loss, but with 11 seconds left, lebron didn’t even want to drive to the basket, instead he passed off to Ds????

Yes I saw this too - inexplicable. Green was there waiting but would have left KCP unguarded on the right wing. Also careless play, 5 TO, poor D - not his night.

That lazy inbounds pass by LeBron and Oubre hitting the ball off DS for a turnover then tying the game with a layup, that was the point you knew Lakers didn’t have it in them to finish

Man, I honestly would love nothing more than to match up against the Warriors in a 1/8 series in the first round. We would absolutely destroy them. They wouldn't be close in any game.

Totally agree

2 minutes left, and lebron got called for a travel outside the 3 point line which rarely gets called especially against a super star late in game.... then draymond traveled on his layup, no call.

Bron is 36 but AD has 0 excuse. He should be playing way better this season than he is. In the prime of his career and hasn't stepped his game up to another level. His body looks weird. Like he's skinny-fat

I knew a loss like this was incoming give how the team's been performing. Better to get these losses out of the way early so the team knows the consequences of playing lethargic and lacking execution late in games.

Clearly they were both out there half-assing it. Unacceptable.

Still aggravated - because if you are up by 8 with 6 minutes to go, and are the "killer instinct" championship team, you win this.

No I agree, Kuz was getting killed defensively and wasn’t even hitting his shots, so he was basically useless in the 4th.

It's a bit of an overstatement to say "Bron ain't that guy. Never has, never will" when he's taken over a lot of games when it really counts in the playoffs. But I agree, it's annoying how (bleep) his effort was tonight.

Mid quarter complacency... it’s all good, but it is a thing, Coach. Figure out the mid rotation for energy. Bring in THT and call up Cacok.

That was BS...refs have actually been calling on that LBJ more noticeably this year.
