So did I. 3-2 at minimum |
Same here. He should have won the first fight too imo but that one was closer. 3-2 at minimum for Max this go around. _________________ KOBE |

Till needs a reset.
He was rushed with far too much opportunistic hype early, took a couple of beat downs for it and, against actual contenders, benefited from some close decisions in his victories that could have easily gone the other way.
Dude looks scared to pull the trigger and now seems to be carrying the flashbacks of his biggest losses with him the moment he nears the pocket.
I’ve always thought he was more hype than substance but at this point, he looks like he needs an entirely new corner and gym because he hasn’t progressed at all. And he should be. And considering his shortcomings, with his looking only to land one big straight left hand, he just went the distance in a decently close contest with the former champ. He should be showing more, IMO. And I hope he finds it. _________________ We back. |

Surprised no one is talking about tonight's fight card. Hoping Costa can put Adesanya to sleep. |

Easiest money I've ever made picking Izzy. A rudimentary striker that pushes forward against Stylebender? This was tailor made to showcase him. 100 times out of 100 we'd see the same results.
And we're going to the Finals? I'm going to Sizzler boys! _________________ KOBE |

He's beaten the sh1t out of everyone except Yoel and people got it all twisted after that fight. Yoel took the Woodley approach and turned it up to an 11. Just literally stood there, doing absolute zero...even to the point of making fun of himself in the ring about doing nothing. F both those juiced up bums. _________________ KOBE |

Israel masterclass. Kept him at range wit those leg kicks until they’d done enough damage to take some explosiveness away from Costa, then started to pick him apart.
Perfect game plan. _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

It looked like Conor vs Alvarez on their feet. Just several tiers above. _________________ KOBE |

Yup!
I want Cannonier to beat Whitaker. It’d be fun to see him vs stylebender. Meanwhile chimaev can work his way up. Middleweight is fun rn! |

Yeah it was, and he just completely took away Costa’s ability to rush him, with the strategy of those early leg kicks, and like you say the speed he was reacting to the slightest opening with, and the timing was excellent too.
I do think Costa is a good fighter, but he has only really one style, and with the benefit of our hindsight, he wasn’t really equipped to mess with Israel. Guess it shows the difference between good and great _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

You guys aren't alone. Four out of nine staff members on the bloody elbow website are taking Gaethje. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Khabib seems immortal right now and it gives me an uneasy feeling. I don't think I've ever felt this way even with Jon Jones. I don't really want to see him lose but I would like to see him look like a mortal. _________________ Don't let perfect be the enemy of good |

Gaethje winning would be a good shakeup for the division. But I think a lot of talking heads in the media have forgotten how dominant Khabib is.
Although I’m not ready to put him on the Jones/Silva level yet. Would like to see him defend the belt more (for years, actually) before I do that. One of the biggest turn offs about the UFC these days is that these guys talk way more than they actually fight. It’s morphing into boxing. Look at Khabib/Ferguson. Waste of time just trash talking and the fight never even materialized. What they don’t realize is they may actually be wasting their athletic primes talking trash and not actually fighting, which means that Jones/Silva records will probably stand for a long time. In retrospect that’s what happened to Ferguson. |
