It seems like every time I check on the former Lakers, I see "DNP-injured" in the box score.

I feel somewhat depressed...FOR THE PELICANS coz they got hoodwinked. At this stage, I would offer Kuzma to them for free just to feel better for robbing Anthony Davis from them.

Nope. Lakers gave up too much even if AD helps us win a championship. I’m all about the 10-15 yr plan. Big picture.

It's very difficult to win a championship. In the last 35 years only Lakers, Spurs, Pistons, Warriors, Celtics, Bulls, Rockets, Cavaliers, Raptors and Mavs have won a championship. 10 teams in 35 years, and 3 of them only won 1 championship. And if the Warriors had been healthy last year, they would be 9. If we win a championship this year, the trade is a success.

Technically AD has just one year of contract before being UFA, so you gave more than enough.

UPDATE:

Mo Wagner had 30 points and 15 rebounds recently

Thomas Bryant had 21 points and 11 rebounds recently

Bonga started 6 games for the Wiz this season

Ingram is averaging 26.2 points and 7.1 rebounds

Josh Hart is averaging 12.6 points and 6.6 rebounds

Ball is averaging 11.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists and is no longer a starter

D. Russell is averaging 24.3 points and 6.7 assists and is out for about 2 weeks

BUT, NONE of these guys were all that good on Defense and their three teams have collectively won 14 games (same as the Lakers) while collectively losing 34!

So, while I do wish them all well, I do NOT miss any of them....!

Those records have absolutely nothing to do with these individual talents for very obvious reasons. So obvious, to ignore them would be ridiculous.

It's fine if you don't miss them, the rationale you provided was bogus.

You don’t wish them well, you only show up in this thread topics on them. Then compound the idiocy by insinuating that their teams aren’t winning because of them.

When Zion returns and the Pelicans start winning games, the narrative will shift from "Ingram's team doesn't win because of him" to "Ingram is getting carried by Zion."

They're no better than .500 at full strength.

Jrue, BI, and Zion cannot coexist in the same starting lineup, someone's numbers will take a dive.

a dive? I do not agree with that at all.....it is not about this year and they will be north of .500 next season if healthy.

I can't name a single team in NBA history where three ball-dominant players all got theirs in the same lineup (without at least two of them able to score consistently off assists).

BI and Jrue are not that type of player, and I have a feeling Zion likes to cook his own meals too.

When I say dive, I'm talking a 25-33% reduction from their current scoring averages, for at least one of them.

Lonzo still under %50 TS. Pelicans fans turned on him? Seems like he will never fix that. I am glad we are not gonna deal with Lonzo's contract extension. That will be ugly.

On the bright side, he will be affordable for them.

Well genius, I actually show up on lots of threads and UNLIKE you, I don't feel the need to exhibit some pompous-know-it-all attitude that criticizes everyone in order to feel better about themselves!

I took the time to research their stats and their teams stats, again UNLIKE you who shoots for the hip with your personal biased opinions!

And the fact that when the above players were on the Lakers, the Lakers lost and now that they are on other teams , those teams are LOSING, DOES mean something!

Now go ahead say something SMART! It's gotta happen sooner or later...
