OK. The news reporter said "As many as three people may have been killed." Gus walked out straightened his tie and fell. If he's still alive in the same role extraordinary plastic surgery will have to be done. I see why the called the episode "Face Off."

What?

Better Call Saul is a prequel. If Gus was to appear, it would be years before his face was blown off.

Saw an article that pointed out a few interesting things about this episode.

*Jimmy was facing east(like Kennedy on the half dollar) when he looked at his ring and changed his mind. Rather than looking west and into the future, he looked to his past.

*Jimmy taking the ring may be something that happens more in the future - taking things from people around him that die - similar to Walt taking characteristics from people he kills.

OK. I didn't watch BB when it first aired. I binged it after reading so much about it here on LG.

Jogging my memory it's becoming clearer why Jimmy is Jimmy and not Saul. Also understand the writers dilemma about when to introduce Jimmy as Saul.

Thanks Cut

How do you get through an entire series of Breaking Bad, an entire season of Better Call Saul, an entire season of reading this thread and still not know that the BCS timeline predates BB?

really?! lmao this is fascinating! I'm interested, then, in just what the heck was running through your mind when you saw Mike and Tuco walking around living and talking. Or the fact that Saul's name isn't Saul, it's Jimmy McGill.

I was tying it to Larry's post, embolded. Let me get it straight. Was BB before or after BCS?

omfg jodeke...how?

How what?

How do you get through an entire series of Breaking Bad, an entire season of Better Call Saul, an entire season of reading this thread and still not know that the BCS timeline predates BB?

Just didn't.

really?! lmao this is fascinating! I'm interested, then, in just what the heck was running through your mind when you saw Mike and Tuco walking around living and talking. Or the fact that Saul's name isn't Saul, it's Jimmy McGill.

Nothing. It's not something I can explain, it's just something time will show you.

I can accept that. Like C M B said.

Yes, in an episode named with a double entendre.

Do you remember what episode it was?

Season 4, Episode 13

Face Off.

Understood. Take care of your brain, dude.

Nothing wrong with it....I don't think! I can still count backward from 100 to 0. I'm guilty of being impatient, not reading the complete post, sometimes missing the gist. Nothing to worry about.

I enjoyed the shows separately. Didn't watch BB when it first aired, binged on it. Got hooked on BCS never tied the two together character wise sequentially.

It's a bit more interesting now that I'm doing that. DAMN, more to think about. ish
