Nice premiere overall. Had an issue with one visual image, but overall very well done. Love the BrBa references.

It was OK. Didn't really grab me like the pilot of BrBa. It's probably because the high bar it's predecessor set or maybe because it's weird seeing Saul as more than a sleazy lawyer.

I have confidence in the actors and writers of the show and expect it to become a hit.

I thought it was great. Loved the style and being back in that universe. My expectations were not very high, so I was really encouraged by the premiere. I also liked that it will have flash forwards of Saul in the post-Walt new identity. That black and white opening was gorgeous.

I too enjoyed the flash forwards. It was an okay pilot but tomorrow I'm hoping/expecting it to be a lot better. I really like Saul/Odenkirk so I hope it can live up to its potential.

Thought it was good. Flashforward was interesting albeit depressing. Are they going to go the True Detective route where halfway through the season or series they switch to present time?

Did not catch the reference about managing a Cinnabon in Nebraska from season 5 of BrBa until I read it toys morning.

I thought the first 30 minutes or so were slow, but it picked up later. I hope it gets darker, ala BB.

I loved it, I don't mind the prolonged character development. They're devoting an entire series to him after all, you have to put down some groundwork.

I loved the flash forward at the beginning: the scare with the mall patron, and watching the vhs tape and reminiscing like an old retired boxer.

I think they might be dead.

Fantastic first episode. The visual style from BrBa was maintained/improved and Odenkirk looks like he's polished his acting in prep for this AAA role. It was engaging just like the first episode of BrBa.

Enjoyed it. There are a lot of ways they can go with this. His "Law Office" is classic. Loved how he walks out of the courtroom towards the Cadillac, then turns to the yellow pos and gets in.

I don't know if he had to polish up his acting for this role, he was pretty damn good in Fargo.

Came for the nostalgia factor. Left with a new favorite show.

I still think they should have done the spinoff with Gus as the main character.

I think that they probably saw that as being redundant, since Gus was mainly there to be an example of what Walter White would come to be.

Maybe....but Gus was one of the coolest villains ever. You know how it ends for him too. The better story is how he got there. There was an episode where they gave a glimpse of it.

With Saul...we know where he ends up too, but the story looks a bit less interesting. But they do get to reuse sets and base it in Albuquerque where all the familair characters have a chance to drop in and change things.

In some ways, I'm interested to see if they flash forward and do something with the character that's stuck running a Cinnabon. If that's where he's stuck, then it's a fate worse than what happened to Walt or Gus.
