| Mosuns in Laguna Beach... the bomb. Something happened where they closed down though. Gave free food and 1/2 to every local... locals were the only ones that came in. Sucks. Nothing in Laguna is worth eating sushi wise now. I drive out to a small place in Irvine. |

| Sushi island in Costa Mesa is pretty good. Decently priced and has a really convenient easy to access location. Basically it's where the 55s ends. And for the under 21 crowd they don't card if you look old enough. They have a decent selection of japanese beer and good shochu. They also are big laker fans and always have sports on. Great environment friendly staff family owned and they are incredibly nice and personable. |

For an all you can eat place, Asahi is simply the BEST. Amazing quality for an all you can eat place. Big piece of fish with a small portion of rice.
However, I recommend going to Sushi Gen in Little Tokyo. They have a sashimi special during lunch time for $15. Hands down the best deal you can find for the amount of sashimi you get. (There might be a wait though) |
