Check out the list here

I gotta go with Back to The Future. Classic. I loved it when I was a kid, and I love it now. Really funny, really interesting, and I could watch it forever. What about you guys?

Does Star Wars still count since they made 3 more?

I'm going to make it count. Not only my favorite trilogy, my favorite movies of all time are the films in the original Star Wars Trilogy.

The original Star Wars trilogy
The new movies do not exist...

Other notables:
Back to the Future, although the last movie was not as good.
LOTR
I almost want to say the Godfather series, but the third movie...

On another note, some of these trilogies should not even have been made into trilogies.

Angels in the Outfield trilogy?
High School Musical?
Van Wilder?
Legally Blonde?
A lot of Disney movies too.

Old School Star Wars is miles ahead of any other trilogy. Simply classic epic movies.

my other 2 favorite would be Back To The Future and Beverly Hills Cop, although i only really liked the first 2 for both.

and i give LOTR its props

The two batches of Star Wars are to be referred to as The Trilogy and The Travesty

Despite the huge drop off from the first film I still think the Matrix trilogy is awesome.

Also love the Rush Hour movies as well.

If they make a sequel to The Dark Knight, that franchise could damn well be the best.
