I like your team. Alot of depth in the backcourt and on the wings and plenty of cap space to make a significant move.

Nice team name. If things are too close to call, that could be the tiebreaker

Thanks. I'm open to trades, looking to possibly move Hudson for a PF. I could use a scoring PF - PM me!

Still looking to deal for a PF before making moves in free agency. I was gone for a few days and missed out on some of my targets, so trade is probably the way to go. PM me.

You are one of the few teams with cap room...you may wish to go after some of the FA's still out there...

As free agency comes to a close, the Lakers were active in acquiring several key reserves to fill out their roster.

Maurice Lucas 83-84
A 5 time All Star and first team all defense member Lucas brings toughness and an inside presence to the Lakers. A great teammate and enforcer on the floor, Lucas can back up both Barkley and Lanier.

Jim Cleamons 78-79
The veteran Cleamons brings a defensive ability and court savvy to back up Walt Frazier at point guard.

Cedric Maxwell 86-87
Cornbread gives the Lakers another low post option off the bench. His scoring ability around the basket will be a valuable asset as a reserve. He's also a clutch player with (unfortunately) NBA Finals success.

Chris Gatling 99-00
"The Energizer" brings another dangerous low post reserve option to the Lakers. He will serve as Lanier's primary backup, known for his FG percentage and tenacious defense. Another glue guy to solidify the bench.

LaPhonso Ellis 00-01
At 6'8, Ellis continues the trend of adding versatile swingmen. Ellis can drive the lane and finish well, create offense and board. With Antawn Jamison, Gerald Wallace and LaPhonso Ellis the Lakers have a lot of flexibility from 2-4.

I'm open to trade and could use another scoring PG/SG but I think I've done pretty well with this team. They are built on defense and versatility. I can create match up problems for a lot of teams and have the defense and athleticism to shut down opposing stars.
