What do you guys think?

I like:

Old Brown Shoe (awesome lyrics by George, great solo)
I'm Only Sleeping (one of Lennon's best melodies)
Savoy Truffle (great rocker by George)
You Never Give Me Your Money (very memorable tune, somewhat wasted by the lyrics that don't really fit with it)

You guys seem to have more Beatles knowledge than me. I don't know if you would consider these underrated:

And I Love Her
If I Fell
The Benefit of Mr. Kite
Back in the U.S.S.R.

That's the problem with the Beatles. If you want to do a greatest hits album, you have to inlcude almost their entire catalogue.

Ok got a scenario for you guys.

You're a British businessman circa 1969. You're running late for a meeting. As you walk to work you walk past the Apple Corp. building and see this:

What do you do?

Stealing a line from Good Will Hunting, "Sorry boss, I gotta see about a band."

BTW, that rooftop concert was the last time the four of them played together live.

BTW #2, I'm currently reading Malcom Gladwell's "Outliers," which has some interesting stuff to say about them.

I think that song has the most breathtaking guitar solo of their entire catalogue. Pure perfection by George. Nice and short.

John once called And Your Bird Can Sing a "throwaway song", but it's hard to make a case for almost anything of theirs being underrated. Even their most minor of hits achieved critical success and fan adoration.

Here are some of their songs that could be played a bit more relative to their heavy hitters. Some of their darker stuff seems to be shied away from on radio and advertisements (such as Warm Gun).

Dig A Pony
I've Got A Feeling
Girl
Here, There, And Everywhere
Hide Your Love Away
Sexy Sadie
So Tired
Yer Blues

Ok I've been thinking about this for weeks.

And I'm going to have to say Blackbird is maybe my favorite. Not just for the way it sounds but for what it means.

If you don't know look it up.

Blackbird is one of my all time favorites, and it's definitely my favorite that isn't consider a hit.

Eleanor Rigby is my favorite, although it's not really underrated

I'm not sure Eleanor Rigby can be considered "underrated."

Across the Universe would be my choice.

well I did say it wasn't, but when talking about the Beatles, you have to mention your favorite song

It's difficult to consider any song of the Beatles as underrated, but I'll go with one of my favorites which wasn't a huge song for them yet a great bit of songwriting by Paul McCarthy.

Here, There, and Everywhere. Revolver is my favorite Beatles album. I am a certified Beatle nut and have been since about the 4th grade. They were well broken up by then.
