No. 2 - Elizabeth Swann (Pirates)
A note about sci-fi/fantasy and Pirates:
There are those who will say that the Pirates of the Caribbean movies aren’t sci-fi. I’ll disagree with that. Any movie series that has a man with tentacles growing out of his face, a witch/she-goddess who can bring dead people back to life, and a ship piloted by skeletons is definitely sci-fi. Sure the story takes place in the past and it’s about pirates, but that doesn’t take any of the sci-fi-ness out of it.
Why she’s hot:
Elizabeth Swann has the complete package: beauty, power, bravery, loyalty, seductiveness, and sheer sexiness.
But even more importantly, Elizabeth is the hero, or heroine in this case, of the Pirates movies. She does for female pirates what Errol Flynn did for male pirates in the 1950s.
Not only is she a heroine, she looks real good when being one. She fights with style. Her facial expressions of shock, like when she gets her clothes pulled off of her in At World’s End, have to be the best in the business.
That’s not mentioning that her constant partially open mouth is so freaking hot.
Nerd’s fantasy:
Would a man be OK allowing Elizabeth and Will Turner to consummate their marriage once every 10 years as long as he could have her the rest of the time? I think the answering would be an overwhelming, “Aye!”

The Hottest Girl in Sci-Fi: Number Six from Battlestar Galactica
Why she’s hot:
If this countdown was to consist of the “prettiest sci-fi girls,” Number Six probably comes in second or third. But because it is for the hottest, she wins for one simple reason: sex.
She oozes sexuality. Ever scene she’s in (even those in a long sweater, or of her with a battered and bruised face) is filled with sexual tension.
In the very first episode, her spine lights up while she’s reaching her sexual climax with Dr. Gaius Baltar.
Colonel Tigh can’t even resist her.
Even when she’s not physically present, she’s able to control the doctor with her pure sexuality. The funniest scenes in the series occur when Number Six invades Baltar’s mind, while he’s in the middle of a meeting, to perform some kind of sexual act on him. When other characters look at him, he catches himself in mid-ecstasy.
And there were those special moments when there would be multiple Number Sixes on the screen.
Amazing.
But Number Six wasn’t just sex. Her character had depth. She was conflicted. She was beaten. She disagreed with her people. She was “special” to the Cylons.
In fact, Number Six is the Cylons’ greatest accomplishment. They were able to take the most complicated human emotions—sex, power, and love—and uploaded it into an almost flawless body.

This one is easy: being Dr. Gaius Baltar.

just read the remix (new list)... Damn I didn't realize Olivia Wilde is going to be in Tron and thus qualifies for the list... she definitely should be on there, she's ridiculously hot.
I'll take Anna Torv too and move Scarlett up higher while we're at it. But overall I can understand your reasoning. Good job man  |
