One of the attractions for Turkoglu for them was the ability to play a point forward role which Odom can do. He's not going to get a ton of minutes behind Aldridge and they have Przybilla behind Oden.
It would make sense to try to swing Przybilla for more 2/3 depth and then use Odom in a trio with Aldridge and Oden like we do with Bynum/Gasol.
I hope they don't go after Odom but could see it happening. Or they could focus on a pure PG like Andre Miller. |
Odom loves it in LA and the life style. He wont leave for a city that has nothing, but rain. |

Odom doesn't make sense for Portland. They want a starting 3, and that isn't Lamar's strength anymore. _________________ Jeffs

No way should they offer LO 10 million...no way. Let him walk. There's no team out there that will pay that much for him. Seriously, to all you saying he's better than Turk, did you watch the playoffs at all? He's the reason why they made it to the finals. I say offer him around 7 or 8, take it or leave it and I have a feeling that's how the lakers will play this. |

Depends. If the difference is 8 vs 10, he might. Make it 9 so that he has to make a tougher decision. |
You don't get it. LA holds his bird rights. The most Portland can offer is 8 million. LA will top that or match it. If it between Portland and LA. LA wins hand down! |

Odom would be a fool to leave the Lakers. _________________ https://psntrophyleaders.com/user/view/tenike1

He not going to portland. They can only offer him 8 million and LA would match that in a heart beat. |

Where else does Hedo think he can get $10 million a year? Weird. Maybe another crazy agent using scare tactics? |

Oregon Live report is after that ESPN report. They're basically saying ESPN is wrong. |

It starts with 8, but averages out to 10. As far as whether we'll match, that's assuming that Odom would even let us. If Odom makes a commitment, there's no going back. |

It was reported Portland offered Hedo 10mil and if he rejected it I'm sure they could offer Odom the same amount. |

actually, just because la can match or exceed the offer doesn't mean that they will match or exceed it. the worry is that we have no idea what budget jerry buss has given mitch to work with. |

You would swear the money is coming out some of you guys pocket, "10 million no way. Let him walk" "7 million take it or leave it", I dont care what he gets, overpaid or underpaid as long as he is a Laker in the end. |

ESPN is wrong.
Jason Quick broke the news. He has Blazer contacts, not ESPN. |

So he going to take 2 million more to play in Portland. Come on use your head! Odom is not Ariza. He values living in LA more then that. 2 million more not going to make him leave LA. |

Those things were what this board said to Ariza as well. Money talks in this league. Odom has left LA before didn't, he albeit for Florida! But I hope a deal for the Lakers is juast around the corner. _________________ Miami police will not arrest Dirk for stealing LeBron's ring.
