1) Must rebound better, be prepared mentally for Magic's long rebounds
2) Make Turkaglu go right
3) Kobe must play smarter, better than game 2
4) don't miss rotations on Lewis
5) More Bynum and a little less doubling on Howard. Rafer's money at home
6) Hit them early. Take crowd out of the game
7) make refs call 3 sec.'s on Howard
8) Hope and pray they call Howard's fouls this time. |

Everyone makes mistakes like that one, and that's not a big deal. The big deal is they had no right to call the first two, they were completely bogus, and the reason they had no right to call them is because had they applied that same logic to Howard he would have been fouled out before the 4th quarter. |

I could deal with Howard's 2 point barage, but not Lewis and Hedo's 3 points!!
Let's go pickle-in-a-jar-like DEFENSE! |

Can you imagine what those bandwagon Suns fans are feeling right now?
Those were some arrogant players, coaches and fans. Look at them now. |

Good sign so far. EVERYONE I have heard so far on TV are picking the Magic. Has a Gam6 in Denver feel to it. If the Lakers go into Orlando and pound them for a win, the series will end up being a sweep. PLEASE GOD |

i think the Lakers smell blood...and Kobe and the Lakers will come out playing their best basketball of the season...this team comes together on the road...and thats when they are at their best...if Kobe knocks down his first few shots...and the team follows suit...this series will be over in 4...LETS GO LAKERS!!!! I want to celebrate a championship on thursday!!!!

1 more Kobe championship and I'll be content with the Kobe era Lakers.
2 more Kobe championships and he'll own Shaq and Shaq could never say anything else about Kobe and that would be ideal. |

Yeah, and not only a Magic win but "easily" by some. It just shows you how fickle the media is. Lakers blowout in game 1, world beaters. Lakers OT win in game 2, the Magic will only get better and better while presumably, the Lakers will get worse. A big win tonight would do a lot in silencing them. |

lakers HAVE to play better defense. i honestly think the magic are simply missing shots and being sloppy with the ball. lakers dodged a huge bullet when lee missed that layup, but there wont be any lucky breaks like that in orlando.
look at howard to finally step up. if he gets some dunks, they'll get more energized. bynum has to be smart and avoiding getting quick fouls.
i dont think we're gonna see the same defense on kobe. i see harder double teams to force other lakers to make a play.
pietrus is goign to have a huge game, and i see alston finally showing up.
the magic are going to play huge today, lakers have to match their energy and not panic down the stretch.
stay on your man, no open threes, and rebound.
CMON LAKERS! |

for some reason i feel pretty good about this game in favor of the lakers of course...i expect the magic to come out swinging like a wounded animal but the lakers have shown the ability to withstand and overcome hostile crowds and runs by the home team...see utah, denver and houston...lets go lakers... _________________ RIP.....Pop (AJ Sr.) 7/09/23-01/20/09
Thanks for 35 years of love, sacrifice and joy...also for taking me to all the lakers games at the GW forum as a youngster and helping me understand the joy that comes from watching a lakers game |
