Kobe was the blame for the loss but had we got the timeout we wouldnt be so pissed right now we were only down 2!

I hate losing ...Period...But I am taking this one tonight ...In a Way I expected it....and for the reasons I thought ...

Home Cooking - Refs calls were defnitetly timely in the parts of the game for the Home Team..( Would be nice if this happend in the staple center)

Orlando can not PLAY ANY BETTER then this ..they were against the wall and everyone came to play...( that has to be the best they can play and they barley beat us)

Slow rotations on D, and as much is it pains me to say this but We were gaining momentum when Farmar was in the fourth and on Rafer.... The problem there is you get what you get with Farmar... Good with the Bad....but we never went back to Fisher to get a shot...So ?????????

NO Brown playing time - he seems to be the spark at times when we really need one..

I think we were Uncharacteristic in the fourth at the foul line- we had some good shots And Kobe had 8 Assists--Whenever kobe gets 8 that is usually a win....

Call some of the Non Calls that were missed...Not all of them and this game can be won...everyone here can list them all not into that ... and that includes the Goaltends/out of bounds calls...not just actual Personal fouls that show up in the box score...

New Game Thursday---the jet lag is over ...time to play tighter D as we did in the first 2 games so they shoot a lower percentage... But on some of there shots they were serious prayer shots....

So with all that maybe Thursday we get even calls, they both bring there A games....If this scneario plays out ..sorry the edge would have to go to the Lakers....

Oh an my overall Take is that Kobe did not lose this game...he missed Fouls shots he normally is MONEY.... It happens...But the reasons above combined with the fouls shots is why we now have a Loss and the magic get there first win EVER....

I love the people who blame Kobe for this lose. I just don't get it!

you take glory for the wins, you have to assume responsibility for losses, especially when you were shouldering the possessions that cost the team pts.

+1 way to see things as they are rather than through homer glasses

+1 to people thinking out of pure frustration. He doesnt take responsibility for the wins.

We, well not me, but fans give it to him. sheesh.

way to continually dance around the point and turn it around like it matters at all whether or not Kobe asks for "glory" when we win

Why becuase i can think rationally and not out of frustration? Like i said multiple times, it took an ok game by us to lose by 4 points and come down to litterally the last seconds of the game, yet they played the best they possibly could and barely squeek it out at home.

WHo in the hell actually thought that we would sweep them when we havent swept ANY team this postseason. Wake up and see the big picture. We werent going to sweep them. I will take this kind of loss as the fist loss in any series EVERY SINGLE TIME.

amen

Preach it.

lol while I'm not going to lay the loss on one player, to say Pau was at fault on that exact play is completely ridiculous. After all, it was Kobe who couldn't split the double and got stripped. Pau would've never been in that position in the first place, had Kobe split the double.

OK, I'll play.

You start. Name five bad calls in favor of the Lakers in this game.

Or just slink away with your tail between your legs before I embarrass you.

Aside from the aforementioned clean block on Kobe, just in the 4th quarter there was also the call with about 7 minutes left when the ball clearly went out of bounds off the Lakers and we got the ball back. I'm sure if I sat down taking notes on every call like you, I'd be able to come up with more. And I'm not denying that the Lakers got some bad calls too, just that the balance wasn't as off as you maintain.

Anyone know? I know they got swept in 95 by the Rockets. Have they even been to the Finals before 95?

With some of our supposed fans who start finger pointing and bashing our own players everytime we lose a game, we don't need outside haters. We have our own bad homegrown haters...and bad homegrown gives you a friggin headache every time.
