Not another blowout but a good margin win. Expect Magics to double up on Kobe while he's in the post making his teamates beat them. I think thats the mistake they made. How can you let kobe post up all day without a double thats a big big mistake.

So the big question is, will the Lakers come out with the same intensity in game 2, or will we see the roller coaster ride we were treated too against Houston and Denver?

I, for one, think we'll see them come out focused in the next game. Kobe still sounded focused/unsatisfied in his courtside interview at the end of the game.

5:00 pm pst on ABC.
Lakers up 1-0, and if we come out with the same focus and energy, it will be 2-0. Drew has to do the same thing he did tonight and make it hard on Dwight.

Bring out the brooms!!!!

Game 2 will be the series CLINCHER. Lakers take game 2 and the series is OVA. The Lakers MUST forget about game 1.

Damn. Dude is ICE COLD. Putting 40-8-8 and going up 1-0 and there is NO EMOTION. None.

I don't know if you saw him or heard that quote, but it is the most un-emotional comment I've heard from him. Monotone. Business.

It's business time. That's all.

I've never, ever, seen this highly focused player THIS focused. EVER.

This could be a legendary series guys. Buckle up for Kobe Bryant. Buckle up for the Lakers.

Kobe is going to play a 7 game series even if the Lakers win the first 4.

This is why I love the 2-3-2 format for the Home team. You hold it down on your home floor and the series is pretty much a lock. We aren't the 2006 Mavs. Lakers will definitely take 1 in Orlando, if not 2. Still, even if we take 1, we have two chances to close it out in Staples, no way we would lose both. Orlando will make some adjustments, but as long as the Lakers come out with that same passion and focus on Sunday, we can start poppin the champagne bottles early.

Win Game 2: Magic are facing a pressure filled Game 3 and 4
Lose Game 2: All the pressure is on the Lakers.

Lakers played a great game tonight, but they must be aware that Orlando will/should come back strong. Lakers must not lose focus and continue to play with the same intensity. Lakers need to play another great game and if they win, I beleive we got this series. Lakers must keep focused for 48 minutes in the next game, no letting off the gas. GO LAKERS!!
